  • Patent number: 12348392
Abstract: A networking request is received from a first workload, within a first container, on an edge device. A determination is made that the destination of the networking request is a second workload, within a second container, on the edge device. In response to determining the destination of the networking request, the networking request is forwarded to the second application, wherein the forwarding comprises intercepting the networking request at a socket associated with the first workload and delivering the network request to a socket associated with the second workload.

  • Publication number: 20250211479
Abstract: Various embodiments comprise a wireless communication network to inhibit network data system signaling overload. In some examples, the wireless communication network comprises primary Unified Data Registry (UDR) and secondary UDRs. The primary UDR node detects a fault condition for a secondary UDR. The primary UDR node blacklists the secondary UDR node for inter-UDR communications based on the fault condition and updates a network topology graph to remove the secondary UDR node. The primary UDR node transfers a command to another secondary UDR to blacklist the secondary UDR node and to update the network topology graph to remove the secondary UDR node. The other secondary UDR node receives the command, blacklists the secondary UDR node for inter-UDR communications, and updates the network topology graph to remove the secondary UDR node.

  • Patent number: 12342035
Abstract: This disclosure provides a system by which content/service providers can enable gaze-responsive advertisement/targeted content mechanisms for CPE devices like STB's/OTT streaming devices or systems or display devices. The system creates a new opportunity for content/service providers to advertise and helps in generating revenue. The system leverages using gaze-based technology in CPE devices like STB's or large display devices. A gaze-based algorithm helps the CPE devices to locate the viewer point of attention, using which gaze-responsive advertisement/content targeting can be achieved. The disclosure provides an end to end solution—from content creation to content consumption for gaze-responsive advertisement/media delivery.

  • Publication number: 20250203916
Abstract: Device structures and related fabrication methods for asymmetric MOSFETs that exhibit high BVDSS and low HCI characteristics while substantially improving the poor sub-threshold slope and output resistance ROUT characteristics common to conventional asymmetric MOSFET devices. Embodiments are fabricated by implanting halo and/or LDD dopants on the source-side of an asymmetric MOSFET using at least two different non-90° twist angles, each in a different quadrant. By implanting dopant at different twist angles, dopant is implanted within otherwise shadowed corners, thus essentially eliminating the parasitic transistors within such corners. Optionally, an extra implantation of halo/LDD dopants may be performed at a 90° twist angle. As a result, a non-90°, multi-twist implanted asymmetric MOSFET exhibits improved linearity and an essentially equivalent gain characteristic compared to conventional asymmetric MOSFETs.

  • Publication number: 20250199923
Abstract: Techniques are provided for performing a resync transfer to recover from a storage site failure. During normal operation of a first site hosting a first volume, data is replicated to a second volume hosted by a second site. If the first site fails, when clients are redirected to the second volume at the second site. When the first site recovers, data modifications made to the second volume are resynced back to the first volume. As part of synchronizing the first volume, a data warehouse is rebuilt at the first site in order to track the location of blocks present on the replication destination. Typically, the data modifications are transferred after the data warehouse is rebuilt, which results in significantly long resync times. The techniques provided herein decrease the resync time by either rebuilding the data warehouse in parallel with resyncing the data modifications or circumvent the need for rebuild.

  • Publication number: 20250195468
Abstract: In the present invention, the role of indoxyl sulfate (IS) has been investigated for its selective anti-cancer activity on colon cancer cells. IS treatment to HCT-116 and HT-29 human epithelial adenocarcinoma cells led to a decrease in cell proliferation, cell viability and ATP content. Colon cancer cells showed a 10% increase in cell apoptosis in comparison to a control. Due to IS treatment, cell morphology was distorted, cell number found decreased, intracellular vesicles formed, and cells were found floated in the media. Cells also showed loss in membrane integrity and decrease in colony forming ability and ceased at G2/M phase of cell cycle. No significant change was noted in the level of inflammatory cytokines IL-17A, IL-1? and TNF-?, histology, length of intestine and spleen, after 100 mM IS treatment to balb/c mice. These observations indicate selective anticancer effect of IS to colon cancer cells.

  • Patent number: 12326979
Abstract: Gesture recognition is a key requirement for Human Computer Interaction (HCl) and multiple modalities are explored in literature. Conventionally, channel taps are estimated using least square based estimation and tap corresponding to finger motion is tracked. These assume that noise component is negligible and can reduce the tracking accuracy for low SNR. Thus, to mitigate the above-mentioned limitation, the system and method of the present disclosure explore the feasibility of using speaker and microphone setup available in most of smart devices and transmit inaudible frequencies (acoustic) for detecting the human finger level gestures accurately. More specifically, System implements the method for millimeter level finger tracking and low power gesture detection on this tracked gesture. The system uses a subspace based high resolution technique for delay estimation and use microphone pairs to jointly estimate the multi-coordinates of finger movement.
