    Abstract: M.2 Universal Flash Storage (UFS) and combined UFS/PCIe cards are described herein. In one example, the same M.2 interface is reused on the main board of laptop for supporting both PCIe SSD and UFS storage. One M.2 socket can accommodate a UFS Add-In-Card, a combined PCIe/UFS card, and/or a PCIe SSD. In one example, an M.2 UFS card includes a printed circuit board (PCB), an edge to be received by an M.2 connector, conductive contacts at the edge to couple with contacts of the M.2 connector, a UFS storage device, and UFS signal lines between the conductive contacts and the UFS storage device.

    Abstract: Methods and systems for reporting a provisioning transaction in a wireless communication network are disclosed. According to an implementation, a lawful interception management system (LIMS) of the wireless communication network may receive, from a law enforcement agency (LEA), a request to track activities of a subscriber of services provided through the communication network. The request may be submitted through a third-party server located in a public network. LIMS may transmit the request to a communication service provider (CSP). Upon receiving the request, CSP may forward the request to one or more servers via dedicated interfaces respectively assigned. The one or more servers may be configured to intercept the provisioning transactions that occurred on different radio access networks, e.g., 2G/3G, 4G/LTE, or 5G. Once the provisioning transaction is intercepted, LIMS may be immediately notified via the dedicated interfaces. Information related to the provisioning transactions is reported to LEA.

    Abstract: A data storage device and method for lane detection and configuration are provided. In one embodiment, a data storage device is provided comprising a memory, an interface, and a controller. The controller is configured to detect whether a cable coupled with the interface is providing a first channel configuration signal that indicates that the cable is in a first cable orientation or a second channel configuration signal that indicates that the cable is in a second cable orientation. In response to detecting that the cable is not providing either the first or the second channel configuration signal, the controller uses a default lane configuration to communicate with the host via the cable. Other embodiments are possible, and each of the embodiments can be used alone or together in combination.

The controller is configured to determine that action is needed to control a thermal state of the data storage device; and in response to determining that action is needed to control the thermal state of the data storage device, send a request to a host to reduce a number of lanes the host uses to communicate with the data storage device, wherein reducing the number of lanes reduces an amount of heat generated by the data storage device.     Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to material quality inspection. Conventional approaches available for material quality inspection are unable to address concerns of complexity and cost involved. The technical problem of occluded object detection and material quality inspection for intrinsic defects identification is addressed in the present disclosure. The present disclosure provides a system and method for non-intrusive material quality inspection using three-dimensional monostatic radar based imaging, where the object under inspection undergoes a circular translation motion on a rotating platform. A modified delay-and-sum (m-DAS) algorithm is built by incorporating virtual antenna array to obtain a 3D image reconstruction of the object. From 3D reconstructed images, radial displacement as well as the angular locations of the object is identified which are further used for quality inspection of the material comprised in the object.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for managing updates to user devices, and in particular, SIM-based OTA updates. In some cases, SIMOTA updates need to be made while a user device has a cellular connection (e.g., 4G/LTE, 5G). As such, an instruction is transmitted to the user devices that need a SIM-based update but that currently have a non-cellular connection. The instruction is for the user devices to deregister from the non-cellular connection and to reregister using a cellular connection. An indication is received that at least a portion of those user devices now currently have a cellular connection. The SIM-based updates are then transmitted to those user devices.
