  • Publication number: 20250055540
Abstract: The present invention provides a method and apparatus for achieving model compatibility in AI/ML based channel state information compression models in multi-antenna systems. An initial capability report is transmitted to a base station. An initial network configuration is received from the base station. An AI-specific AI/ML CSI capability report is transmitted to the base station. A CSI report configuration consisting of AI/ML model specific configuration parameters and CSI reporting parameters, and CSI-Reference signals are received from the base station. Parameters such as AI-CSI is computed based on the CSI report configuration to transmit CSI report. The CSI report configuration is transmitted according to an information element (IE) consisting of a pairing ID. The AI-CSI parameter is computed based on AI/ML model indicated by the pairing ID and other CSI reporting parameters included in the CSI report configuration.

  • Publication number: 20250056333
Abstract: An access and mobility management function (AMF) and a unified data management node (UDM) described herein are configured to refrain from sending messages between each other in the contexts of handovers between 4G (fourth generation) and 5G (fifth generation) technologies and of initial registration on 5G. During a handover from 5G to 4G, the UDM sets a 5G registration status to not active and refrains from sending a deregistration notification to the AMF. During a handover from 4G to 5G that is not an initial registration, the AMF refrains from sending get messages and subscribe messages to the UDM but receives updates to subscriber profile information from the UDM. Further, during an initial 5G registration, the AMF refrains from sending subscribe messages to the UDM but receives updates to subscriber profile information from the UDM.

  • Publication number: 20250053408
Abstract: In one embodiment, a system for managing communication connections in a virtualization environment includes a plurality of host machines implementing a virtualization environment, wherein each of the host machines includes a hypervisor, at least one user virtual machine (user VM), and a distributed file server that includes file server virtual machines (FSVMs) and associated local storage devices. Each FSVM and associated local storage device are local to a corresponding one of the host machines, and the FSVMs conduct I/O transactions with their associated local storage devices based on I/O requests received from the user VMs. Each of the user VMs on each host machine sends each of its representative I/O requests to an FSVM that is selected by one or more of the FSVMs for each I/O request based on a lookup table that maps a storage item referenced by the I/O request to the selected one of the FSVMs.

  • Publication number: 20250048302
Abstract: An access and mobility management function (AMF) configured to send a registration message with an initial registration flag set to false to a unified data management node (UDM) and refrain from sending an update message to the UDM is described herein. The AMF receives a registration request from a user equipment (UE) associated with a handover of the UE from a fourth generation (4G) network to a fifth generation (5G) network and determines that the registration request is not for an initial registration. In response to determining that the registration request is not for an initial registration, the AMF sends the registration message to the UDM with an initial registration flag set to false and refrains from sending the update message to the UDM.

  • Publication number: 20250048075
Abstract: An access and mobility management function (AMF) configured to obtain subscriber profile information without sending a get message and a subscribe message to a unified data management node (UDM) is described herein. The AMF is a new AMF that receives a registration request as part of a handover from an old AMF and receives user equipment (UE) context information from the old AMF. Without sending a get message to the UDM, the AMF obtains subscriber profile information by either fetching the subscriber profile information from an unstructured data storage function (UDSF) shared by a pool of AMFs, when the UDSF is available, or receiving the subscriber profile information from old AMF, when the UDSF is not available. Also, without sending a subscribe message to the UDM, the AMF receives notification of changes to the subscriber profile information from the UDM.

  • Patent number: 12217568
Abstract: A progressive pool controller within a gaming environment can have programmable contents thereof retrieved or changed without need for user interaction with the controller other than inserting a dynamically-linkable and reprogrammable storage device (e.g., a USB flash drive) into an I/O receptacle of the controller. The controller has a service automatically repeatedly executing therein, checking for insertion of the storage device, checking for recognizable commands within the inserted storage device after it is inserted, executing command following programs for the recognizable commands, saving output results of the executed programs into the inserted storage device and signaling that the storage device should be removed from the I/O receptacle upon completed execution of all the command following programs. Contents of the storage device remain encrypted when in transit and are exposed within secured confines of the controller.
