  • Patent number: 12073152
Abstract: A computing device includes a processor and a storage device. A vehicle asset modeling module is stored in the storage device and is executed by the processor to configure the computing device to perform acts of identifying and clustering a plurality of assets based on static properties of a vehicle asset using a first module of the vehicle asset modeling module. The clustered plurality of assets is determined based on dynamic properties of the vehicle asset using a second module. Event prediction is performed by converting a numeric data of the clustered plurality of assets to a natural language processing (NLP) domain by a third module. One or more sequence-to-sequence methods are performed to predict a malfunction of a component of the vehicle asset and/or an event based on past patterns. Prediction information is stored in the storage device.

  • Publication number: 20240280750
Abstract: Die-to-die electrical interconnects, optical couplers, and related methods for electronic and photonic co-packaging are described. Optical couplers include multi-segmented tapered waveguide core segments, slotted core segments, and graded refractive index structures to significantly relax alignment tolerances between dies. Conductive nanopillars, conductive pads, and conductive micropillars can be used to make electrical connections between circuitry on the interconnected dies. The electrical connections can be used to self-align the optical couplers between the dies. Due to relaxed optical alignment tolerances, electrical interconnects and optical coupling between dies can be made in the same die-to-die bonding step.

  • Publication number: 20240245301
Abstract: Systems and methods for imaging breath-hold (BH)-induced oxygenation changes in a patient are provided. A non-invasive, non-contact device can be used to image BH-induced oxygenation changes in one or more parts (e.g., foot) of a patient. The patient can hold his or her breath for a set amount of time while imaging is performed using the device, and the imaging can be performed before and/or after the time while the patient is holding his or her breath as well (e.g., during a recovery period). This enables tissue oxygenation based flow correlation independent of melanin concentration (e.g., skin color) of the patient and/or the curvature of the tissue (of the patient) being imaged.

  • Patent number: 12047472
Abstract: An improved information management system that implements a staging area or cache to temporarily store primary data in a native format before the primary data is converted into secondary copies in a secondary format is described herein. For example, the improved information management system can include various media agents that each include one or more high speed drives. When a client computing device provides primary data for conversion into secondary copies, the primary data can initially be stored in the native format in the high speed drive(s). If the client computing device then submits a request for the primary data, the media agent can simply retrieve the primary data from the high speed drive(s) and transmit the primary data to the client computing device. Because the primary data is already in the native format, no conversion operations are performed by the media agent, thereby reducing the restore delay.

  • Patent number: 12020181
Abstract: A computer system can implement a network transaction service by monitoring location data from a computing device of a user to confirm that the user is located at a merchant location, receiving transaction data from a point-of-sale terminal of the merchant location, and confirming that the user has left the merchant location based on the location data. The computer system may then automatically execute a transfer operation to fund the transaction using a shared funding account of the network transaction service such that no direct payment interaction is made between the user and the merchant.

  • Publication number: 20240202226
Abstract: Various systems and methods are presented regarding code-based pattern extraction (Code-PE) and the application of Code-PE to a named entity recognition pipeline. Patterns can be generated from named entities, wherein the entities have an assigned type. Codes are identified within the entities, subsequently vectorized and clustered based upon the presence of the identified codes. Patterns are identified for the respective clusters. The patterns can be applied to an untyped entity, in the event of the pattern matching, the entity can be typed with the type assigned to the pattern. The typed entity can be used to recursively update knowledge regarding typed- and untyped-entities. In the event a pattern incorrectly types an entity, the pattern can be retrained with the updated knowledge.
