    Abstract: A method performed by a network node for reducing Inter-Symbol Interference, ISI, in a wireless communications network. The network node provides a number of beams for transmissions between the network node and respective one or more first User Equipments, UEs, and a second UE. During a time period, network node obtains (301) measures of ISI per beam out of the number of beams related to transmissions between the network node and the one or more first UEs. The network node then reduces (302) the ISI in the wireless communications network 100 by obtaining a beam for transmission between the network node and the second UE. The beam is selected out of the number of beams by taking the obtained measures of ISI per beam into account.

Signal receipt at a decreasing quality level while using the first beam is detected. The decreasing quality level is caused by interfering transmission from another transmitting radio transceiver device. In response thereto, a temporary switch to the backup beam of the first beam is initiated, without performing any beam training, for continued reception of signals from the transmitting radio transceiver device.

A total load capacity is determined for each of the candidate cell combinations. A cell combination procedure is recommended for a first cell combination. A cell combination, for which a load margin exceeds zero, is allowed to be chosen as the first cell combination. The load margin is a difference between the determined total load capacity and a sum of the cell loads. A network node performing such method is disclosed.
