Abstract: A connecting element for a facing panel with a hole having a small depth and an undercut, includes an expanding cone insertable into the hole undercut, and thread shaft extending from the expanding cone. A roof-shaped bent expansible element is displaceable over the expanding cone for securing the connecting element in the facing panel hole. The roof-shaped bent expansible element is formed as at least approximately oval metal ring having opposite bent portions abutting the expanding cone.

Abstract: The drill bit for producing a cylindrical drilled hole, especially in concrete, has a shank and a drilling head at one end of the shank provided with at least one helically extending drilling dust groove. At least two bulb-like shank enlargements (6,7) are provided on the shank (5) arranged in succession axially. Each of the shank enlargements (6,7) has the same maximum diameter and the drilling head has a drilling head diameter which is at least as great as the maximum diameter of the shank enlargements (6,7). Advantageously two drilling dust grooves with semicircular cross sections are provided on the shank displaced from each other radially by about 180.degree. to form a cross member with cutting edges on the drilling dust grooves.

Abstract: The device for producing a drilled hole with an undercut includes a drilling tool having a shank and a drilling head faced with a plurality of diamond chips, a drilling tool-holder structured to hold the drilling tool and a rotatable sleeve having an axial throughgoing passage for the drilling tool and the drilling tool-holder and also having a lateral connecting pipe for a cooling and flushing liquid. So that the drilled hole with the undercut can be made in a single working step using the same drilling tool, the shank of the drilling tool (2) is provided with a stop collar (12) and also a cross-sectionally enlarged portion (17). The shank of the drilling tool (2) tapers uniformly toward the drilling head (11) and also tapers uniformly toward the stop collar (12).

Abstract: A mounting assembly includes an expansible anchor having a threaded bolt, an expansible sleeve, and a shank member having an internal thread that enables the shank member to be screwed onto the threaded bolt to provide for expansion of the expansible sleeve over the expander body of the threaded bolt. The mounting assembly also includes a mounting tool adapted to be clamped in a drill chuck of an impact drilling machine and the like and having an end portion shaped like a polyhedron for engaging the internal bore of the shank member which internal bore has a diameter that is less than the diameter of the internal thread.The internal bore and the polyhedron end portion has lateral faces and edges such that, when the mounting tool clamped is engaged with the internal bore and the drill operated, the shank member rotates with the mounting tool until the installation is complete.

Abstract: A fixing element for securing a facing panel to a masonry and anchorable in an undercut of a drilled hole formed in the facing panel, has an expansion member with an expander cone, formed at an end thereof and a shank portion extendable beyond the rear surface of the facing panel and projecting into the masonry. Holding elements is formed on the shank portion to reliably fix the shank portion in the masonry, and an expansible sleeve is displaceable over the expander cone for anchoring the fixing element in the undercut of the hole drilled in the facing panel.

Abstract: The fixing element for anchoring in a hole drilled in a concrete part includes a threaded bolt, an expansible body with an expander cone and an expansible sleeve having an internal bore. The expansible sleeve has longitudinal slots extending from its front end and the expansible body is joined to the threaded bolt for expansion in the drilled hole. To ensure that the fixing element can continue to at least partially hold after experiencing a sever excessive stress such as occurs during an earthquake, the internal bore (14) of the expansible sleeve (11) has a first cylindrical portion (14a) in its front end, which has a length corresponding approximately to the length of the expander cone (5) and the diameter of the first cylindrical portion (14a) corresponds to the smallest expander cone diameter.

Abstract: A device for forming an undercut in a drill hole includes a drilling tool having a shank receivable in a chuck of a drilling machine and having a convex collar supported on a corresponding concave bearing surface of a bearing element of the device. The bearing element has a bore that communicates the bearing surface with an opening which communicates with a source of a lubricant liquid. The collar has at least one groove for conducting the liquid into the drill hole to the drill bit head of the tool.

Abstract: A threaded bolt assembly adapted to be anchored in a drilled hole formed in a concrete part and having an undercut expanding towards a bottom of the drill hole, with a hardening compound mass. The threaded bolt assembly includes a threaded bolt having an internal bore extending from a leading end face of said threaded bolt and having an internal thread, and a plurality of expansible segments formed in a region of the internal bore by a plurality of longitudinally extending slots. The threaded bolt assembly further includes an expander bolt having a threaded portion threadably received within the internal bore of the threaded bolt, an expander cone extending from the threaded portion. A projection extends from an end face of the expander cone.A method for anchoring such a threaded bolt assembly in a hole with an undercut drilled in a concrete part, is also described.
