    Abstract: The drill bit for producing a cylindrical drilled hole, especially in concrete, has a shank and a drilling head at one end of the shank provided with at least one helically extending drilling dust groove. At least two bulb-like shank enlargements (6,7) are provided on the shank (5) arranged in succession axially. Each of the shank enlargements (6,7) has the same maximum diameter and the drilling head has a drilling head diameter which is at least as great as the maximum diameter of the shank enlargements (6,7). Advantageously two drilling dust grooves with semicircular cross sections are provided on the shank displaced from each other radially by about 180.degree. to form a cross member with cutting edges on the drilling dust grooves.

    Abstract: The device for producing a drilled hole with an undercut includes a drilling tool having a shank and a drilling head faced with a plurality of diamond chips, a drilling tool-holder structured to hold the drilling tool and a rotatable sleeve having an axial throughgoing passage for the drilling tool and the drilling tool-holder and also having a lateral connecting pipe for a cooling and flushing liquid. So that the drilled hole with the undercut can be made in a single working step using the same drilling tool, the shank of the drilling tool (2) is provided with a stop collar (12) and also a cross-sectionally enlarged portion (17). The shank of the drilling tool (2) tapers uniformly toward the drilling head (11) and also tapers uniformly toward the stop collar (12).

The mounting assembly also includes a mounting tool adapted to be clamped in a drill chuck of an impact drilling machine and the like and having an end portion shaped like a polyhedron for engaging the internal bore of the shank member which internal bore has a diameter that is less than the diameter of the internal thread.The internal bore and the polyhedron end portion has lateral faces and edges such that, when the mounting tool clamped is engaged with the internal bore and the drill operated, the shank member rotates with the mounting tool until the installation is complete.
