Abstract: An arrangement for mounting an object to a support structure has a mounting element insertable into a mounting hole of the support structure, a flexible container arranged to accommodate an adhesive substance and to be inserted into the mounting hole prior to the mounting element, and an abutment member arranged to abut against an outer face of the support structure and provided with the slot. When the flexible container inserted in the mounting hole is pulled out from the latter and through the slot of the abutment member the adhesive substance is squeezed from the container into the mounting hole so as to anchor the mounting element insertable into the hole.

Abstract: A coupling arrangement for transmitting torque in a toy model has a Cardan joint whose one end portion is connected with a nut which is screwed on a worm gear mounted on a motor shaft, whereas the other end portion of the same is connected with a driving shaft engaging with a gearing element which is connected with a toy model axle. The nut may be formed as a cap nut and fixed on the worm gear by a counter nut. The gearing element may be formed by a gear wheel, a differential gear or the like. A structural plate may be provided, on which the motor and a structural element supporting the driving shaft can be mounted. The cap nut may have a closed end portion provided with a journal which is connected with one end portion of the Cardan joint.

Abstract: A sliding contact for collecting current from a two-rail track system of a toy railroad to a toy train, has a holding plate, two contact pins mountable on the toy train by the holding plate and arranged to be located above the rails, and a sliding bridge which engages with the contact pins so as to allow lateral movement between the latter and the former, and is arranged to slide along both rails of the track system and to maintain electrical connection between the rails and the contact pins. The sliding bridge may be provided with guiding elements for guiding the sliding bridge during its sliding along the rails.

Abstract: An electrical connecting element for a toy railroad has a support member insertable between two adjacent ties which support rails and two contact members which are guided laterally outwardly of a track formed by the rails and rest against outer faces of the latter. One of the contact members is arranged above the support member, whereas the other contact member is arranged below the same.

Abstract: A structural element of an assembly kit, for mounting a motor to a supporting plate having holes, has a body portion with an inner hollow for receiving a motor, fixing elements on the body portion for fixing the motor to the latter, a plurality of projections on the body portion which extend through the holes of the plate and one of which has means for arresting the body portion to the plate, and a plurality of connecting elements on the body portion which are parallel to one another and are arranged to connect a further structural element to the body portion. The one projection may have such a length that it extends outwardly beyond the plate and has an undercut outer portion which is engageable in an undercut hole of a tightening member. The body portion may be provided with a transmission so that when the motor is inserted into the hollow of the body portion, it is connected with the transmission to form a drive unit.

Abstract: An arrangement for mounting a film to a substrate has an inner clamping member which is connected to the substrate and has an undercut portion, and an outer clamping member which surrounds the film placed on the inner member in the region of the undercut portion of the inner clamping so that the film is clamped between the inner clamping member and the outer clamping member. The outer clamping member is formed as an open spring ring. It may have two end projections which are bent from each other so as to facilitate engagement of the ring by pliers. A locking member may be fitted over the end projections of the spring ring. The spring ring may be coated by a synthetic plastic material.

Abstract: An arrangement for anchoring a mounting element in a hole of a supporting structure by a hardenable material which is supplied into the hole from an outlet end of an injecting device, has an insert element which is located in an inlet opening formed between an inner portion of the mounting element and a wall of the supporting structure. The insert element is provided with a filling opening communicating with the hole of the supporting structure. The arrangement includes a mouthpiece element arranged on the filling opening of the insert element and provided with a setting recess which is located at an acute angle to an axis of the hole of the supporting structure and communicates with the filling opening of the insert element. The setting recess is arranged for receiving the outlet end of the injecting device.

Abstract: A structural element of an assembly kit is proposed which is connectable with at least two further structural elements by respective differently dimensioned connecting elements each of which is associated with one of the further structural elements. The first-mentioned structural element has a body part having at least one undercut groove including two different undercut portions. One of the undercut portions of the undercut groove of the first-mentioned structural element is adapted to receive a section of the connecting element associated with one of the further structural elements, whereas the other different undercut portion of the groove of the first-mentioned structural element is adapted to receive a section of the connecting element associated with the other of the further structural elements. The portions of the groove of the first-mentioned structural elements may have a transverse dimension increasing in the direction towards an interior of this structural element.

Abstract: A mounting element is anchored in a hole of a support structure by use of a hardenable binder material. The latter is fed from a feeding device which has an outlet section insertable into the hole. The outlet section of the feeding device has a volume which corresponds to that of parts of the mounting element to be inserted into the hole. Thereby only enough binder material can enter the hole to anchor the mounting element so that the expulsion of excess binder material from the hole upon introduction of the mounting element is prevented. A ring-shaped member may be fitted onto the mounting element to center and fix the latter in the hole. The ring-shaped member may be inserted into the hole before or after injecting the hardenable binder material into the latter.

Abstract: A hollow structural element has a hollow member having a circumferential wall and a side wall which closes one of the axial ends of the circumferential wall, a cover member arranged to close the other end of the circumferential wall of the hollow member and connecting elements for connecting the structural element with other structural elements. The connecting elements include an undercut projection provided in the cover member and arranged for inserting into an undercut groove of another structural element, and an undercut lateral slot provided in the side wall of the hollow member and arranged for engaging with an undercut projection of a further structural element. The lateral slot has a first enlarged portion through which the projection of the further structural element can pass, and a second reduced portion extending from the first portion toward the axis of the circumferential wall and dimensioned so that the projection of the further structural element engages in the reduced portion.

Abstract: A solar collector, particularly as a power source for a toy model assembled from structural elements of a kit, has a supporting member, at least one solar cell mounted on the supporting member, mechanical connecting elements arranged on the supporting member for mechanically connecting the latter with another structural element of the toy model, and electrical connecting elements also arranged on the supporting member for electrically connecting the solar cell with other solar cells. The electrical connecting elements may connect the solar cells with one another in parallel and/or in series. The supporting member may be plate-like. The electrical connecting elements may be arranged on two opposite side faces of the supporting member and may include two pairs of plugs and/or sockets.

Abstract: A mounting element is provided for connecting a cladding structure to a support wall with the use of a wire anchoring member having one end mortared in the cladding structure. The mounting element has a plate-like holding portion adapted to be driven into the support wall, and an eye-like receiving portion adapted to receive the other end of the wire anchoring member. The mounting element may be manufactured from a thin sheet whose one part forms the holding portion, and another part is bent so as to form a sleeve-shaped receiving portion located centrally and extending lengthwise of the holding portion. An end face of the receiving portion may be offset relative to an end edge of the holding portion by a distance which is substantially equal to the thickness of the wire anchoring element. A leading end section of the holding portion may be bevelled so as to form an insertion tip.

Abstract: A hollow structural element of an assembly kit, particularly forming a compartment of a toy vehicle has a hollow body having an open end through which a toy figure can be inserted, a wall located opposite to the open end and provided with connecting elements for connecting the body portion with another structural element, and side walls having a plurality of projections adapted to engage a toy figure and to retain the latter in the body portion. The toy figure may have a base portion and an undercut portion, and the projections of the side walls of the body portion may be so located as to engage the undercut portion of the toy model. The projections of the side walls of the body portion may extend parallel to the opposite wall and outside of corner regions of the body portion.

Abstract: An assembly kit has a first hollow structural element having a face and at least one groove open at the face, a second hollow structural element having a wall surface positionable onto the face of the first structural element, and at least one further groove extending inwardly of the wall surface, and a substantially U-shaped connecting element having two elongated portions connected with one another by an intermediate portion. One of the elongated portions of the connecting element is insertable into the groove of the first structural element, whereas the other elongated portion of the connecting element is insertable into the further groove of the second structural element when the wall surface of the second structural element is positioned on the face of the first structural element so as to connect the structural element with one another.

Abstract: A drilling assembly has a drilling tool which is insertable into a collet chuck of a drilling machine and includes an elongated shaft clamped by the collet chuck, and a longitudinally extending portion on the shaft engageable in a slot between two collets of the collet chuck. The longitudinal portion prevents displacement of the drilling tool relative to the chuck in a circumferential direction. A transversely extending portion is further provided on the shaft so as to abut against an end face of the collet chuck when the drilling tool is clamped therein. These portions may be of one piece with one another and may be manufactured by a stamping process.

Abstract: A mounting element for mounting an object to a support structure provided with a mounting hole, has a leading anchoring portion of a diverging cross-section and a trailing mounting portion. The anchoring portion is inserted into the hole and anchored therein by a hardenable binding material. A separating element subdivides the hole into at least two chambers spaced from one another in a transverse direction. Thereby, the hardenable binding material after being hardened in the hole, forms two separate rigid bodies which spread apart from one another by the diverging anchoring portion when a force is applied to the mounting element. The separating element may be formed by two wing-like blade members arranged on a circumferential surface of the anchoring portion.

Abstract: A mounting element for mounting an object to a support structure has an outer sleeve-shaped anchoring member adapted to be inserted into a mounting hole of a support structure and having an inner bore, and an inner threaded member insertable into the inner bore of the anchoring element. The anchoring member has an axis and a first portion and a second portion axially spaced from one another and bounding a first section and a second section of the inner bore, respectively. The second portion of the anchoring member has at least two slots extending in an axial direction and closed at their both axial ends so as to impart yieldability to the second portion of the anchoring member. The first section of the inner bore of the anchoring member bounded by the first portion has a diameter at most equal to the root diameter of the thread of the inner threaded member.

Abstract: A structural element of a toy construction kit comprises a hollow structural member having an inner passage, formations for connecting this structural member with another structural member, and a cover member detachably engageable in the inner passage of the structural member and provided with formations forming an aperture, such as a window or a door. The cover member has at least a pair of slots extending from one of its ends toward another end and forming therebetween a section which is separated by the slots from a remainder section of this portion. The thus-formed section has an outer surface provided with a projection. The slots may extend up to the other end of the portion of the cover member.

Abstract: A mounting arrangement for mounting an object to a support structure at a predetermined distance from the latter, comprises an expansion sleeve having an inner hole and insertable into a hole of the support structure, an expander screw adapted to pass through a hole of the object to be mounted so as to support the latter, and partially insertable into the inner hole of the expansion sleeve so as to expand and to anchor the latter in the hole of the structure, and a sleeve-shaped spacer member having an inner hole, and adapted to be fitted onto the expander screw and insertable into the hole of the object to be mounted. The spacer member has resiliently yieldable elements adapted to be spring-loaded after insertion of the spacer member into the hole of the object to be mounted and operative for gripping the latter in the spacer member, and further elements for fixing the spacer member to the expander screw.

Abstract: A connecting element for cruciformly connecting quadrangular structural elements each having a connecting surface, has a plate-like member including a central portion having lateral sides, and side portions each located at one of said lateral sides of the central portion. The central portion and the side portions have supporting surfaces arranged to support the connecting surfaces of the structural element and provided with means for connecting the latter to the plate-like member. The supporting surface of the central portion has dimensions which are at least equal to the dimensions of the connecting surface of the structural element, whereas the supporting surface of each of the side portions has at least one dimension which is smaller than a corresponding dimension of the structural element.
