  • Patent number: 11047362
Abstract: A method and apparatus for applying optimized yaw settings to wind turbines including receiving operating data from at least one wind turbine on a wind farm and sending the data to a supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) system on the at least one wind turbine to generate current SCADA data. The current SCADA data is sent a central processing center away from the wind farm. The central processing center includes an optimization system that can generate a new look up table (LUT) including at least one new wind turbine yaw setting calculated using information comprising wind direction, wind velocity, wind turbine location in the wind farm, information from a historic SCADA database, and yaw optimizing algorithms. The new LUT is then sent to a yaw setting selection engine (YSSE) where instructions regarding the use of the new LUT are generated.

  • Publication number: 20210195103
Abstract: A method for capturing images of large target area using a single low FOV high resolution camera mounted on an Aerial Vehicle for 3D reconstruction is disclosed. The camera captures sets of images consisting of a nadir image a plurality of oblique images at predefined waypoints or as the Aerial Vehicle travels along a flight path. Oblique images are captured in two perpendicular directions by tilting camera about a single tilt axis at one time thereby preventing bidirectional distortion of objects in images. Further, first direction and second direction define a quadrant of area below the Aerial Vehicle. Oblique images along two perpendicular directions are captured either by using roll and pitch axes, or by using a single tilt axis and a pan axis of camera control mechanism wherein using pan axis the single tilt axis is reoriented in a perpendicular orientation to capture oblique images in perpendicular direction.

  • Publication number: 20210191944
Abstract: A query optimization system is described that, at runtime, optimizes the execution pipeline generated for a query. Based upon communications between nodes in the execution pipeline, the execution pipeline generated for a query is optimized by modifying the execution pipeline to create a modified execution pipeline. The modified execution pipeline is then executed to execute the query and results obtained for the query. The changes or modifications made to an execution pipeline may include changing the capabilities (e.g., changes to inputs and/or outputs of a node, changing the task(s) or function(s) performed by the node) of one or more nodes within the execution pipeline. The changes may include changing the position of one or more nodes within a directed acyclic graph representing the execution pipeline.

  • Patent number: 11042596
Abstract: Devices often receive content items to be saved for later presentation to a user. In some instances, the content of the message is analyzed to retrieve supplemental information from external data sources, such as a map to a location discussed in a message. However, such supplementing often fails to reflect the personal context of the content item to the user, who may not easily recall the associated personal context when the content item is later presented. Instead, for a content item to be saved, a device may evaluate personal data sources to identify the personal context of the content item to the user, and add personal context annotations to a content item record of the saved content item. Later, during a presentation of the content item to the user, the personal context annotations may be included as a reflection of the personal context of the content item to the user.
