  • Publication number: 20210165942
Abstract: A hardware monitor arranged to detect out-of-bounds violations in a hardware design for an electronic device. The hardware monitors include monitor and detection logic configured to monitor the current operating state of an instantiation of the hardware design and detect when the instantiation of the hardware design implements a fetch of an instruction from memory; and assertion evaluation logic configured to evaluate one or more assertions that assert a formal property that compares the memory address of the fetched instruction to an allowable memory address range associated with the current operating state of the instantiation of the hardware design to determine whether there has been an out-of-bounds violation. The hardware monitor may be used by a formal verification tool to exhaustively verify that the hardware design does not cause an instruction to be fetched from an out-of-bounds address.

  • Publication number: 20210163034
Abstract: A computer-implemented method, system, and/or computer program product controls a driving mode of a self-driving vehicle (SDV). One or more processors compare a control processor competence level of an on-board SDV control processor in controlling the SDV to a human driver competence level of a human driver in controlling the SDV while the SDV encounters a current roadway condition which is a result of current weather conditions of the roadway on which the SDV is currently traveling. One or more processors then selectively assign control of the SDV to the SDV control processor or to the human driver while the SDV encounters the current roadway condition based on which of the control processor competence level and the human driver competence level is relatively higher to one another.

  • Patent number: PP33149
Abstract: A new and distinct cultivar of Sansevieria plant named ‘HANSOTI26’ is disclosed, characterized by unique light grey-green foliage with distinct dark green linear markings in the form of linear lines along the length of the leaf and transverse cross hatching on this, contrasting with the light green background. The arched leaves are relatively fleshy, strap-like with maximum width up to 3 cm, upright, somewhat stiff with soft, non-aggressive tips that do not hurt or poke even in large mature plants. ‘HANSOTI26’, unlike most commercial Sansevieria cultivars, comes true to type and quickly forms adventitious shoots from leaf cuttings. Plants of ‘HANSOTI26’ are extremely tough, even when compared to other Sansevieria cultivars, and are very long lasting under low light indoor conditions. The new variety is a Sansevieria, categorized within the Novelty Sansevieria Group, typically produced as an indoor ornamental plant.
