  • Publication number: 20150067160
Abstract: Methods, systems, and articles of manufacture to generate file transfer monitoring criteria are disclosed. An example method obtains a file transfer log file from a first network entity and obtains from the transfer log file file transfer metadata that is associated with file transfer activity between the first network entity and a second network entity. The file transfer metadata is used to generate a file transfer monitoring criterion that is associated with selectively monitoring the file transfer activity between the first network entity and the second network entity. Service level criteria associated with the file transfer event is automatically updated based on the file transfer monitoring criterion.

  • Publication number: 20150067026
Abstract: A technique acquires online meeting data relating to an online meeting. The technique involves running, by processing circuitry, a set of programs (e.g., an operating system, a slideshow application, a word processing program, other programs, etc.) to carry out an online meeting which shares online meeting content among a set of users. The technique further involves performing, while the processing circuitry runs the set of programs to carry out the online meeting, a set of information collection operations by the processing circuitry. The set of information collection operations collects online meeting data from the set of programs. The collected online meeting data includes non-bitmap text-based information extracted from the set of programs (e.g., keywords, phrases, etc. obtained via procedure calls using standard APIs to the set of programs). The technique further involves storing, by the processing circuitry, the collected online meeting data in a designated location of computer memory.

  • Patent number: 8969924
Abstract: Various aspects of the invention are directed to memory circuits and their implementation. According to an example embodiment, an apparatus includes a channel region between raised source and drain regions which are configured and arranged with respective bandgap offsets relative to the channel region to confine carriers in the channel region. The apparatus also includes front and back gates respectively separated from the channel region by gate dielectrics. The raised source and drain regions have respective portions laterally adjacent the front gate and adjacent the channel region. Carriers are stored in the channel region via application of voltage(s) to the front and back gates, and relative to bias(es) at the source and drain regions.

  • Publication number: 20150054106
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention relate to a camera assembly including a rear-facing camera and a front-facing camera operatively coupled together (e.g., bonded, stacked on a common substrate). In some embodiments of the invention, a system having an array of frontside illuminated (FSI) imaging pixels is bonded to a system having an array of backside illuminated (BSI) imaging pixels, creating a camera assembly with a minimal size (e.g., a reduced thickness compared to prior art solutions). An FSI image sensor wafer may be used as a handle wafer for a BSI image sensor wafer when it is thinned, thereby decreasing the thickness of the overall camera module. According to other embodiments of the invention, two package dies, one a BSI image sensor, the other an FSI image sensor, are stacked on a common substrate such as a printed circuit board, and are operatively coupled together via redistribution layers.

  • Patent number: 8961891
Abstract: A heat sink is used to absorb heat produced by a vehicle. The heat sink uses an endothermic catalytic alcohol dehydrogenation reaction to assist with the absorption of excess heat produced in the electronics of the vehicle. In some embodiments, the alcohol can be pre-heated by absorbing heat from various components of the vehicle. Excess heat from the various components or from the vehicle engine can be used to vaporize the reaction fluids in order to further absorb additional heat. Reaction fluids can also be sent to the vehicle's engine/burner for use as a supplemental fuel.

  • Patent number: 8966586
Abstract: An OpenFlow network controller controls an OpenFlow network. A networking connection is established between the OpenFlow network controller and an OpenFlow network device attempting to become part of the OpenFlow network. After establishing the networking connection with the OpenFlow network device, the OpenFlow network controller attempts to authenticate the OpenFlow network device. Where authentication of the OpenFlow network device is successful, the OpenFlow network controller sends a message to the OpenFlow network device to indicate that the authentication was successful and permits the OpenFlow network device to join and perform OpenFlow messaging.
