The conference may be performed using a plurality of conferencing endpoints at each of the participant locations. Audio may be received from each of the plurality of conferencing endpoints. Audio level information may also be received from each of the plurality of conferencing endpoints. The audio may be combined from a plural subset of the plurality of conferencing endpoints to produce conference audio. The plural subset is less than all of the plurality of conferencing endpoints. The audio may be combined based on the audio level information. The conference audio may be provided to the plurality of conferencing endpoints.

Abstract: The present invention provides a catalyst for generating hydrogen, containing a composite metal of iron and nickel, the catalyst used in a decomposition reaction of at least one compound selected from the group consisting of hydrazine and hydrates thereof; and a method for generating hydrogen, including contacting the catalyst for generating hydrogen with at least one compound selected from the group consisting of hydrazine and hydrates thereof. According to the invention, hydrogen can be efficiently generated with improved selectivity in the method for generating hydrogen that utilizes the decomposition reaction of hydrogen.

Abstract: An example apparatus provides access to electronic health information for a first patient and one or more patients connected by relationship to the first patient. A first patient indicator represents a first patient and provides a link to electronic health information for the first patient. A second patient indicator represents a second patient and provides a link to electronic health information for the second patient. A connection provides a graphical indication of a relationship between the first patient and the second patient and connects electronic health information for the second patient for access in connection with electronic health information for the first patient. The connection is to provide a graphical indication of a priority of the relationship between the first patient and the second patient based on a defined relationship hierarchy. A graphical indication of a type of relationship between the first patient and the second patient is provided.

Abstract: A way of generating a watermark for a structured result, such as a search result or a machine translation. A hash function is used to generate a bit sequence for each of a plurality of structured results. A ranking score is generated for each resulting bit sequence. The ranking score can be based on the detectability of the bit sequence compared to a randomly-generated bit sequence and the quality of each of the structured results. A structured result is selected as the watermarked structured result based upon the ranking score.

Abstract: A videoconference may be initiated between a plurality of endpoints. At least one of the endpoints may be coupled to a recording server, which may be configured to record the videoconference. A configuration may be selected (e.g., automatically or manually) for performing the recording. The endpoint (e.g., acting as an MCU) may transmit information to endpoints and may transmit recording information to the recording server. The recording information may be different from the videoconference information. For example, it may be in a “streaming friendly” format, at a different bit rate, encoded differently, have different inputs, etc. The manner in which the videoconference is stored and/or recorded may be based on the selected configuration. Clients may be configured to receive and display the videoconference from the recording server and may be configured to change the provided layout to different layouts, e.g., based on user input.

Abstract: A Dispatch Planner (DP) is a component in an Energy System Controller that controls the operation of energy resources interconnected into one energy system to provide optimal energy management for a customer. In one embodiment, the energy storage system includes an electric load, dispatchable sources of energy such as an electrical grid, diesel generators, combined heat and power generators; renewable sources of energy such as photo-voltaic cells and wind turbines; and stored energy resources such as electrochemical batteries or pumped hydro reserves.

Abstract: Systems and methods for formatting frames in neighborhood aware networks are described herein. One aspect of the subject matter described in the disclosure provides a method of communicating in a wireless neighborhood aware network (NAN). The method includes determining at least one connection setup information element indicating one or more connection parameters of the NAN. The method further includes determining at least one service identifier of the NAN. The method further includes generating a public action discovery frame comprising the at least one connection setup information element and the at least one service identifier. The method further includes transmitting, at a wireless device, the public action discovery frame.

Abstract: Systems and methods for formatting frames in neighborhood aware networks are described herein. One aspect of the subject matter described in the disclosure provides a method of communicating in a wireless neighborhood aware network (NAN). The method includes determining a discovery period. The method further includes generating a discovery window information element indicating a start time of a discovery window. The method further includes generating a NAN beacon or other sync frame comprising the discovery period and the discovery window information element. The method further includes transmitting, at a wireless device, the NAN beacon or other sync frame during the discovery window.

Abstract: A request is received to remove duplicate data. A log data container associated with a storage volume in a storage server is accessed. The log data container includes a plurality of entries. Each entry is identified by an extent identifier in a data structures stored in a volume associated with the storage server. For each entry in the log data container, a determination is made if the entry matches another entry in the log data container. If the entry matches another entry in the log data container, a determination is made of a donor extent and a recipient extent. If an external reference count associated with the recipient extent equals a first predetermined value, block sharing is performed for the donor extent and the recipient extent. A determination is made if the reference count of the donor extent equals a second predetermined value. If the reference count of the donor extent equals the second predetermined value, the donor extent is freed.

Abstract: A system, a method and an apparatus are described. The apparatus includes a modem that responds to a thermal mitigation request by invoking different levels of thermal mitigation for different concurrently active connections. In some instances, the modem may invoke thermal mitigation with respect to a first active connection and refrain from invoking thermal mitigation with respect to a second active connection maintained by the modem. The apparatus determines the first and second active connections based on subscriptions corresponding to subscriber identification modules, an identification of a power amplifier or group of power amplifiers responsible for a thermal issue in the modem. The selection of mitigation levels for each active connection and decisions to invoke mitigation on one connection while refraining from invoking mitigation on another connection may be based on priorities of the active connections, including quality of service related priorities.

Abstract: Methods and systems for managing for migrating feedback data from one digital asset to another digital asset are disclosed. Typically, the one digital asset is available for distribution from a network-based media distribution system, but then subsequently is removed from distribution for any of a number of reasons. However, since the one digital asset has been in use at the network-based media distribution system, it has accumulated feedback data. Hence, if the another digital asset serves (e.g., due to equivalency) to replace the one digital asset, then the accumulated feedback data from the one digital asset can be transferred to the another digital asset. As a result, the another digital asset can benefit from the feedback data that was previously associated with the one digital assert.

Abstract: Techniques, systems, and articles of manufacture for determining the current logical state of a social media communication thread. A method includes computing an initial probability for applicability of each of multiple logical states for a first entry in a social media communication thread, wherein each logical state corresponds to a stage of interaction between customers of an enterprise and/or agents of the enterprise based on features derived from content of entries in the communication thread, network structure of entries, and identity of authors of entries, computing a transition probability between each subsequent consecutive entry in the communication thread, wherein the transition probability indicates the probability of moving from one logical state to another, and determining the current logical state of the communication thread based on the computed initial probability for the first entry and the computed transition probability between each subsequent entry in the communication thread.

Abstract: Skins and/or adhesive layers are formed on a porous ceramic honeycomb by applying a layer of a cement composition to a surface of the honeycomb and firing the cement composition. The cement composition contains inorganic filler particles, a carrier fluid and a clay material rather than the colloidal alumina and/or silica materials that are conventionally used in such cements. The cement compositions resist permeation into the porous walls of the ceramic honeycomb. As a result, lower temperature gradients are seen in the honeycomb structure during rapid temperature changes, which results in an increased thermal shock resistance.
