  • Publication number: 20130285183
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention relate to a camera assembly including a rear-facing camera and a front-facing camera operatively coupled together (e.g., bonded, stacked on a common substrate). In some embodiments of the invention, a system having an array of frontside illuminated (FSI) imaging pixels is bonded to a system having an array of backside illuminated (BSI) imaging pixels, creating a camera assembly with a minimal size (e.g., a reduced thickness compared to prior art solutions). An FSI image sensor wafer may be used as a handle wafer for a BSI image sensor wafer when it is thinned, thereby decreasing the thickness of the overall camera module. According to other embodiments of the invention, two package dies, one a BSI image sensor, the other an FSI image sensor, are stacked on a common substrate such as a printed circuit board, and are operatively coupled together via redistribution layers.

  • Patent number: 8572750
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer program products are provided herein for facilitating security in an information technology environment. Web application security vulnerabilities are discovered and addressed by means of virtual patches deployed to components of the information technology environment. An intelligent feedback loop is created to fill the void in the security of the web application when implemented in the specific information technology environment, thereby providing end-to-end security application management through dynamic, pre-emptive, and proactive security awareness and protection in the information technology environment. As new web application security vulnerabilities are discovered, the vulnerability is diagnosed and resolved to preemptively prevent exploitation of the security vulnerability.

  • Patent number: 8572579
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide systems and methods for optimizing handling of breakpoints in a Java debugger agent. Embodiments provide a novel command that allows execution of the application in the debugger to stop or break at the beginning of a next called function or method (e.g., a “break on next called function” or “BNCF” command). When the BNCF command is given to the debugger, a flag may be set in the interpreter of the virtual machine to which the debugger is attached. On encountering a new method or function call, the flag is examined by the interpreter to determine whether it should stop or break in that call. If the flag is set, the interpreter will stop; otherwise the interpreter proceeds.

  • Patent number: 8572110
Abstract: A textual search index is used to identify data objects that have numerical properties that satisfy search queries. As described herein, a search index contains search index entries, each of which specifies a reference string and a set of data object identifiers. When an original search query is received, the search query is transformed into a transformed search query such that numerical comparison query elements in the original search query are transformed into equivalent textual comparison query elements. The search index is then used to identify ones of the data objects that satisfy the transformed search query. A list of the identified data objects may then be provided in response to the original search query.

  • Publication number: 20130283033
Abstract: A device sends an authentication request from the device to a session management server, and receives a token from the session management server if the device authenticates successfully. The device obtains a streaming media playlist file from a content delivery server, and sends the token to a key server for token validation. The device receives a decryption key from the key server if the token validates successfully, and requests a first streaming media segment file from the content delivery server based on the playlist file. The device receives the first streaming media segment file from the content delivery server; and decrypts the first streaming media segment file using the decryption key.

  • Patent number: 8561963
Abstract: An improved microvalve is described. The microvalve includes a corresponding actuation aperture in an actuation aperture layer. A control fluid flows through the actuation aperture. The flow of the control fluid is controlled by an electric field typically applied via a charge distribution near an actuation aperture layer. In one embodiment, the electric field may adjust the opening and closing of the actuation aperture thereby controlling the flow of the control fluid. In a second embodiment, the control fluid is an electrorheological fluid where the electric field controls the viscosity of the ER fluid thereby controlling fluid flow through the actuation aperture. In both embodiments the flow of the control fluid controls stretching of a flexible membrane formed along the wall of a conduit through which a fluid to be controlled flows. The stretching of the flexible membrane controlling the flow of the main fluid to be controlled.
