  • Patent number: 10855750
Abstract: A single centralized metadata repository for an entire enterprise can maintain the metadata pertaining to various different web service applications on application servers of heterogeneous types within the enterprise. The metadata items stored in the centralized repository all can be stored in a same canonical format that can be expected and understood by all metadata accessors. The metadata maintained within the central repository can be given a life span that is linked with the life span of the web service application to which that metadata pertains. When a web service application is deployed on an application server, metadata pertaining to that webservice can be pushed automatically to the central repository for storage. When such a web service application is undeployed from an application server, the metadata pertaining to that webservice can be removed automatically from the central repository so as not to waste storage space.

  • Publication number: 20200340434
Abstract: An air cleaner for a vehicle includes a case having an air inlet pipe and an air outlet pipe. A cover is removably attached to the case for covering an open top portion of the case. With the cover attached to the case an interior of the air cleaner defines a flow passage directed through the air cleaner from the air inlet pipe to the air outlet pipe. A filter element is received in the interior and is arranged over the flow passage. The flow passage immediately downstream of the filter element includes an elbow-shaped section for redirecting airflow from the filter element toward the air outlet pipe. The elbow-shaped section is provided with at least one first guide rib shaped correspondingly to the elbow-shaped section. The flow passage upstream of the air outlet pipe defines a branching section formed as an acoustic resonator for reducing air intake noise.

  • Publication number: 20200302694
Abstract: An augmented reality trigger system (10) comprising a primary augmented reality device (30) and a trigger action controller (40) for implementing an augmented reality trigger method based on a medical tool (20) and/or a tool identifier (21) 5 associated with the medical tool (20). In operation, the primary augmented reality device (30) generates a camera image of the real world, which may or may not at any time include the medical tool (20) and/or the tool identifier (21). The trigger action controller (40) recognizes a generation by the primary augmented reality device (30) of the camera image of the real world including the medical tool (20) and/or the tool 10 identifier (21) and in response to such recognition, triggers a medical procedure action by the primary augmented reality device (30) and/or a medical device (50) in support of a medical procedure involving the medical tool (20).

  • Patent number: 10759379
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to adjusting a shear pin to minimize an impact force felt by an object in a collision with a vehicle. For example, one or more second computing devices may receive, from one or more first computing devices, information indicating that an impact with an object is imminent. In response to the received information, the second computing devices may determine a first shear force for a first shear pin, wherein the first shear force is a desired amount of shear force necessary to break the first shear pin. The second computing devices may send a triggering signal to activate an actuator prior to an impact with the identified impact target. The actuator, in response to receiving the triggering signal, may adjust the first shear pin in a first pinhole, so the first shear pin will break at the first shear force.

  • Publication number: 20200274864
Abstract: In an embodiment a single user authentication event, performed between a trusted path hardware module and a service provider via an out of band communication, can enable a user to transparently access multiple service providers using strong credentials that are specific to each service provider. The authentication event may be based on multifactor authentication that is indicative of a user's actual physical presence. Thus, for example, a user would not need to enter a different retinal scan to gain access to each of the service providers. Other embodiments are described herein.

Abstract: A trust chain having client system and a remote system in a secure connection, wherein an intermediary system associated with the network flow path serves as a signing entity to establish an end to end transitive trust. The intermediate system is a corroborative entity in the operations technology realm of the client system. The remote system serves as the host for a plurality of services in the information technology realm. A two way handshake during the initial secure exchange protocol between a local client application and a remote service is extended to a three way handshake that includes a nonce issued by the remote service on the remote system and a digital signature for the nonce issued by a signature service on an associated intermediate system.
