    Abstract: An apparatus and method for determining the health of a plasma system by igniting a plasma within a plasma confining volume generate an ignition signal with an ignition circuit and apply the ignition signal between a biased region and a grounded region in the vicinity of the plasma confining volume. A parameter in the ignition circuit is sensed, and the sensed parameter is compared to a first parameter threshold. A condition associated with the plasma confining volume is determined if the sensed parameter differs from the first voltage threshold, and a corrective action can be taken.

    Abstract: The method provides a multi system trust chain between a client system and a remote system in a secure connection, wherein an intermediary system associated with the network flow path serves as a signing entity to establish an end to end transitive trust. The intermediate system is a corroborative entity in the operations technology (OT) realm of the client system. The remote system serves as the host for a plurality of services in the information technology (IT) realm. A two way handshake during the initial secure exchange protocol between a local client application and a remote service is extended to a three way handshake that includes a nonce issued by the remote service on the remote system and a digital signature for the nonce issued by a signature service on an associated intermediate system. The nonce signature is verified authoritatively at the remote system based on the signing certificate of the intermediate system for explicit proof of association.

An eye monitor processes the equalized signal, the first amplified signal, and the second amplified signal to create a first retiming clock phase signal and a second retiming clock phase signal, which control sampling times for flip-flops. One or more delays and one or more emphasis modules are configured to delay and introduce emphasis into an output from the flip-flops, the resulting signals are combined in a summing junction to create the retimed signal.

    Abstract: A transimpedance amplifier and photodiode that has a bias voltage node established at a bias voltage and a ground node/plane that connects, over a short distance as compared to the prior art, to a photodiode and a transimpedance amplifier. The photodiode is in a substrate and configured to receive and convert an optical signal to an electrical current. The photodiode has an anode terminal and a cathode terminal which is connected to the bias voltage node. One or more capacitors in or on the substrate and connected between the bias node and the ground node. The transimpedance amplifier has an input connected to the anode terminal of the photodiode and an output that presents a voltage representing the optical signal to an output path. The transimpedance amplifier and the photodiode are both electrically connected in a flip chip configuration and the ground plane creates a coplanar waveguide.
