    Abstract: This invention is about the fastening belt with freely rotatable drag hooks, which includes two drag hooks. The said drag hooks have an upper cover and a bottom cover, with the hook fixed in the front of the drag hooks; one elastic rope to link the two drag hooks, which is made from stretchable material. Two rotatable linker and two ends of elastic rope are fixated inside the rotatable linker. The rotatable linker is connected with the rear rotation of the drag hook. The hook and the elastic rope are linked by the rotatable linker and the drag hook is linked with the rotatable linker. Thus, the drag hook can rotate freely in the elastic rope. The rope does not kink when in use, which not only prolongs the life of elastic ropes, but also reinforce the reliability of the connection between the drag link and the elastic rope.

    Abstract: The invention provides a method for producing soluble neodymium chloride complex using neodymium chloride aqueous solution as raw material, thereby avoiding the use of anhydrous neodymium chloride, simplifying the synthesis process and reducing the cost for synthesizing neodymium chloride complex. The neodymium chloride complex produced by this method is soluble not only in polar solvent, but also in nonpolar solvent. Such neodymium chloride complex also has good dissolvability in aliphatic hydrocarbon solvent which has relatively weaker solution power, and even in aliphatic hydrocarbon solvent with 6 or less carbon atoms which has even lower solution power. Since neodymium chloride complex is soluble in aliphatic hydrocarbon solvent, its transportation may be conducted, which is convenient for industrial application and contributes to improve the utilization efficiency of rare earth.

    Abstract: This practical new model makes an improved binding machine known to the public, which includes main body, handle, ratchet wheel, roller, fastening belt, latch reed spring, control plate. Among them, the handle's side board is linked with the main section's side board through torsion spring. In this manner, when the fastening belt needs to be tightened as the binding machine is being used, the user can press down the handle which will resume its initial position with the bounce force of the torsion spring. It is not necessary for the user to push it back to the initial position after pressing the handle down. It is very easy and labor-saving with higher efficiency. Furthermore, it can also set a coil spring in the outside end of the roller. The fastening belt can withdraw inside the main section automatically, which is very convenient.

    Abstract: Wildtype and mice lacking the gene encoding PKCI/HINT 1 (PKC?/?) were used to assess the involvement of PKCI/HINT1 in regulating basal locomotor activity and the behavioral activating effects of the psychostimulant, amphetamine. PKCl?/? mice displayed low level of spontaneous locomotion relative to WT littermates. Acute administration of amphetamine significantly increased locomotor activity in WT mice; an effect that was enhanced in PKCl?/? mice. Microdialysis studies revealed no alteration in basal DA dynamics in the striatum and nucleus accumbens of KO mice. Similarly, the ability of acute amphetamine to increase DA levels in these brain regions was unaltered. However, a dopamine receptor agonist, apomorphine (10 mg/kg), was able to induce a significantly higher locomotor activity in PKCI?/? mice as compared with WT, suggesting there may be a dopaminergic functional change at the postsynaptic site.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus for encrypting and decrypting digital data employing multiple Huffman tables and at least one encryption key to enhance security of the digital data. At least one image parameter for characterizing the digital data, such as a motion vector table or DC-luminance, is selected as an image parameter. All possible Huffman tables according to the image parameter are then generated by Huffman tree mutation. A predetermined number of active Huffman tables from all possible Huffman tables are selected using a first encryption key and a hash function. Afterward, a coding sequence for the active Huffman tables is generated using a second encryption key and the hash function. Finally, the digital data is encrypted into an encrypted bit stream by the active Huffman tables with the coding sequence. Encrypted symbols of the image parameter can be reduced by symbol statistic analysis, thus reducing computation effort.
