  • Patent number: 10336495
Abstract: A container of a plastic material is produced using a blow-fill-seal method, and has a container body (1) for receiving a fluid as well as a neck section (5) connected to the container body (1). At the container free end, a dispensing opening (13) for fluid is sealed via a separating region (15, 19) with a head section (17) that can be removed from the neck section (5) by actuating a movable sleeve section (35). By releasing the separating region (15, 19), the dispensing opening (13) is exposed. From the unactuated state to the actuated state in which the separating region (15, 19) is released, the sleeve section (35) is guided so as to be at least partially in contact with a guide path (23) that is part of the removable head section (17).

  • Patent number: 9718572
Abstract: A receptacle, particularly a closed plastic ampoule produced in a blow molding method and filled in the mold, has a sleeve-type neck part (1) connected to a receptacle body (3) as an axial extension. The neck part forms a seat (11) for a pre-shaped insert (5) and is integrally molded in the mold onto a circumferential surface (9) of the insert (5). The circumferential surface (9) is equipped with at least one surface irregularity (21) having an enclosed base surface such that, due to the integral molding of the neck part (1) onto the circumferential surface (9) of the insert (5), a positive fit is present between the insert and the neck part (1). The fit forms a fixing element. The axial extension of the base surface of the surface irregularity (21) is only a small fraction of the axial extension of the circumferential surface (9).

  • Patent number: 9694621
Abstract: A method produces an applicator for applying liquid or pasty media (1), having a container (3) storing the medium (1), and an application element (5, 13) attached to the container (3) in a usage position such that the application element provides the medium (1) for application outside the container (3) by capillary action. A hose of thermoplastic plastic is extruded and inserted into a mold, forming a container (3) closed at the bottom by expanding the hose in the mold. The container (3) located in the mold is filled with the medium (1). The container (3) is separated from the hose to form an opening accessible at the top side of the container (3). The application element (5, 13) is put into the usage position by inserting the application element through the opening of the hose and fastening the application element (5, 13) while simultaneously creating a closure of the container (3) by moving movable mold parts of the mold.

  • Patent number: 9302794
Abstract: A method produces and fills containers (1) made of thermoplastic plastic, in which an extruded plastic hose is inserted into an open mold having movable mold parts. The mold parts forming the container (1) are closed. The hose is expanded by a pressure gradient acting on the hose to form the container (1), preferably in the form of a bellows. The container is filled with filling material. The level of the filling material is raised by reducing container volume in the direction of the container opening. A container closure (5) for the container opening is formed from the hose by closing head jaws of the mold. In the region of the container closure (5), one section of the plastic hose remains unclosed to form a venting cannula (3). When the container volume is reduced, the level of the filling material is raised such that at least air is displaced from the container (1) through venting cannula (3). The venting cannula (3) is closed by closing auxiliary head jaws.

  • Patent number: 9150317
Abstract: A device minimizes the oxygen content in containers provided with a displacement medium or fluid by a feed unit (20). The displacement medium displaces oxygen from the container before closing. The filling device (26) has a filling mandrel (17) with a filling channel (28), from which the media feed channel extends in a separated manner. The filling mandrel (17) has at least one further medium transport channel. The filling channel (28) is guided at its free cross-section in a ring channel region of the filling mandrel (17) having a larger cross-section. • Patent number: 8551053
Abstract: A receptacle of an elastically flexible plastic includes a dosing chamber (10) with a medium to be discharged. One end of the dosing chamber (10) has a discharge opening (18). The opposite end is connected via a junction point (20) to a compressible receptacle part (22) with a gaseous propelling medium. When compressing the receptacle part (22), the propelling medium forces the medium to be discharged out of the dosing chamber (10) via the discharge opening (18). The junction point (20) between the dosing chamber (10) and the receptacle part (22) is a bottleneck creating a capillary effect independent of the spatial position of the receptacle preventing transfer of the medium of the dosing chamber (10) into the receptacle part (22).
