  • Publication number: 20060175279
Abstract: A vial for dispensing a liquid into a syringe is described which comprises a body section for holding the liquid, the body section having a top and a bottom; a port having a removable seal, where the port is adapted for a syringe connection and where the port is interconnected with the body section at a point near the top of the body section by a passageway which for at least a portion of its length extends above the level of the liquid in the body section when the vial is inverted, thereby preventing leakage of the liquid from the body section when the seal of the port is removed. A method of making the vial is also described.

  • Publication number: 20060172027
Abstract: The invention relates to a molding device for moving at least one molding tool (10), especially for generating head geometries in plastic containers, by means of a link motion (22) which brings the respective molding tool (10) into the closed position at least for dosing the tool. Said link motion (22) is actuated by a drive (24). The link motion allows for a novel drive and kinematic concept for the respective molding tool which allows to completely avoid hydraulic drive mean. The drive is preferably an electric drive, especially a step motor.

  • Publication number: 20060163109
Abstract: The invention relates to a plastic ampoule which comprises a container (12) for receiving a defined field. Said container is provided with a neck (14) that can be closed by means of a head (16), the neck comprising a channel-type entrance port (24) for air to be interior (26) of the container (12). The aim of the invention is to improve the generic ampoule types in such a manner that the fluid can be safely stored and the syringe or needle base is reliably filled at any speed of withdrawal by means of the syringe or needle base. For this purpose, the entrance port (24) for air consists of at least one ring channel (28, 30) that is at least partially disposed on the outer and/or inner periphery of the neck (14).

  • Publication number: 20060165831
Abstract: The invention relates to a moulding device comprising a device for displacing at least one moulding tool (10,10a), especially for the production of geometrics of plastic containers, by means of a linking motion (12) which brings the respective moulding tool (10,10a) into a closing position (I-I) for at least the close of the mould. The linking position (12) can be operated by a drive (14). Based on the linking motion (12) a novel drive and displacement concept is provided, enabling the hydraulic means to be totally dispensed with and a drive, preferably an electric drive, to be used, especially in the form of a stepping motor.

  • Patent number: 6749796
Abstract: A process for producing containers involves a tube and at least one separating partition, both formed from plasticized synthetic material. The partition extends within the tube. The tube and partition are extruded into an opened blow mold. The blow mold is then closed, and the tube is expanded by producing a pressure gradient that acts upon the tube. The pressure gradient is applied to expand the tube against the molding wall of the blow mold to form the container. The end of the tube that is the front end during the extrusion step and the front end of every separating partition are welded together by closing the opened blow mold, thereby closing the base of the container that is linked with every separating partition.

  • Patent number: 6733273
Abstract: A device produces containers having an inner space divided into separate container chambers by at least one separating wall. An extruder extrudes a tube of a plasticized synthetic material from an annular gap between an outer nozzle ring and an inner nozzle core. The nozzle core is provided with a guide for synthetic material that is branched off from the annular gap. At at least one outlet port at one nozzle end, the branched-off synthetic material is issued and forms a continuous separating wall that extends within the extruded tube. The guide for the branched-off synthetic material is positioned in a zone of the annular gap located upstream of and at a distance form the outlet end of the outlet port.

  • Publication number: 20040065983
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for the production and filling of containers (12), whereby at least one tube (3) of plastified plastic material is extruded into an open mould (6), the tube (3) is bonded at the advancing end thereof on closing the mould (6) to give the container base and the tube (3) is severed above the mould, by a separating element (21) to give a filling opening. The mould (6) with the tube (3), comprising a filling opening, is moved to a filling position, in which the container is filled after the above is formed in the mould by means of generating an expanding pressure gradient acting on the tube (3). During the movement of the mould (6) into the filling position the filling opening of the tube (3) is covered by means of a sterile barrier (23).
