The method includes capturing audio with a microphone, caching the captured audio in real time, capturing a real-time image and adjusting a control parameter of the microphone based on the real-time image. The apparatus includes a microphone that captures audio, a camera that captures a real-time image, and a processor that caches the captured audio in real time and adjusts a control parameter of the microphone based on the real-time image. The computer program product includes a storage medium storing executable code to perform capturing audio with a microphone, caching the captured audio in real time, capturing a real-time image and adjusting a control parameter of the microphone based on the real-time image.

Abstract: Embodiments are directed to methods of evaluating the prognosis of a breast cancer patient by assessing the level of phosphorylation tyrosine 36 of estrogen receptor beta (ERB). Certain embodiments are directed to methods for evaluating the prognosis of a cancer patient comprising contacting a breast cancer sample from a patient with stage II or stage III breast cancer with an antibody that binds phosphorylated tyrosine 36 of Ei¾?; quantifying phosphorylation of tyrosine 36 of EI¾?; and classifying the patient as having a good prognosis if phosphorylated tyrosine 36 levels are elevated or classifying the patient as having a poor prognosis if tyrosine levels are decreased relative to a non-cancer control. Certain embodiments are directed to an antibody or antibodies that specifically bind tyrosine 36 (Y36) of the ERp.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a clustering method based on iterations of neural networks, which comprises the following steps: step 1, initializing parameters of an extreme learning machine; step 2, randomly choosing samples of which number is equal to the number of clusters, each sample representing one cluster, forming an initial exemplar set and training the extreme learning machine; step 3, using current extreme learning machine to cluster samples, which generates a clustering result; step 4, choosing multiple samples from each cluster as exemplars for the cluster according to a rule; step 5, retraining the extreme learning machine by using the exemplars for each cluster obtained from step 4; and step 6, going back to step 3 to do iteration, otherwise obtaining and outputting clustering result until clustering result is steady or a maximal limit of the number of iterations is reached.

Abstract: An acquisition method for data in a wireless body area network and a central device, the acquisition method includes: a central device acquiring topology structure information of a network formed by node devices, and according to the topology structure information of the network determining time slot information about a super-frame; after time slot information is published, acquiring service data packets of an Exclusive Access Phase EAP, a Random Access Phase called RAP and a managed access MAP1 phase in sequence; acquiring packet loss information in the MAP1 phase, and allocating time slots of a managed access MAP2 phase according to the packet loss information; and after the allocated time slots are published, acquiring service data packets in the MAP2 phase according to the allocated time slots. The technical solution can realize the reliable transmission of data in a wireless body area network and reduce the power consumption and time delay.

Abstract: An automatic control apparatus for a carburetor choke valve includes a pull-rod, throttle control lever, choke block, and temperature control assembly which is arranged on a cylinder head through a bracket having a rotating shaft and coil spring. The rotating shaft is connected to the spring and one end of the pull-rod via a rotary arm. The other end of the pull-rod is located at a choke valve shaft. The block and valve shaft are connected to respective ends of the lever. During cold start, the block is opened driving the lever to pull the valve shaft. When rotated through a certain angle the valve shaft is blocked by part of the pull-rod, such that the valve and block cannot be fully opened. During warm start, the valve shaft when returning is blocked by another part of the pull-rod such that the valve cannot fully close.

The construction method involves constructing a top story framework on a lifting mechanisms (21) and a lifting platform (22); raising the top story framework by the lifting mechanisms (21); resetting the lifting platform (22) to an original position; constructing a second top story framework on the lifting mechanisms (21) and the lifting platform (22); permanently connecting the top story framework with the second top story framework; raising the top story framework and the second top story framework by the lifting mechanisms (21); and constructing repeatedly till the ground story framework is accomplished so as to complete the reverse story-by-story construction from the top story to the ground story.

Abstract: An asphalt concrete pavement containing a wave absorbing material and a maintenance process thereof are provided. The asphalt concrete pavement includes: 1. a coarse materials consisted of small stone with a grain size of 10-15 mm, macadam with a grain size of 5-10 mm and stone chip with a grain size of 0.1-5 mm; 2. fine materials consisted of sand; 3. a mineral powder containing a wave absorbing material which accounts for 10%-100% of the mineral powder by weight percentage. Furthermore, an asphalt concrete material for making asphalt concrete pavement, a mineral powder containing a wave absorbing material, and a use of the mineral powder or wave absorbing material in making the asphalt concrete pavement are provided.

Abstract: In order to protect IMD layers, particularly low-k dielectrics, a protection film is formed on the sidewall of an opening in the IMD layers prior to etching a trench in the underlying silicon substrate. After etching the trench, such as through a TMAH wet etch, at least part of the protection film can be removed. The protection film can be removed in an anisotropic etch process such that a portion of the protection film remains as a sidewall spacer on the sidewall of the opening within the IMD layers.

For each user visiting the company website, the method determines the originating website from which the user enters the company website, and obtains the access activities and the business activities of the user on the company website. The method quantifies the access activities and the business activities of the users who enter the present website from the same originating website to generate evaluation data corresponding to the originating website, and evaluates the company website's online marketing efficiency on the originating website based on the evaluation data of the originating website. Using the disclosed method and system, online marketing efficiency can be evaluated more comprehensively and accurately.

Abstract: A visual technique for tracking user's webpage browsing behavior is provided. In one aspect, a method includes: gathering data related to the user's mouse clicks; determining a respective number of times the user accessed each section of a plurality of sections of a webpage based on the gathered data; matching each section of the webpage with the respective number of times to establish correlations; and displaying the correlations. A visual mechanism and system for monitoring how users browse the webpage are also described. The disclosed technique will help determine the amount of time and attention a user spends on a particular webpage, and how these correspond to the content of the site. As a result, the user's level of attention to the webpage can be clearly displayed.

Abstract: New porous shape memory materials with the use of different fabrication methods such as hot isostatic pressing technique are provided for biomedical and engineering applications. These new materials have a pseudoelasticity ranging from 0.1% to 50%. The mechanical properties of those materials can be adjusted from 1% to 10%. The pore distribution of these said materials is isotropic and homogenous, and their pore shapes can be tailor-made to be spherical or polygonal as avoiding stress concentration around the pores. The porosity and pore size can be controlled by fabrication process. These materials can exhibit superior pseudoelasticity and mechanical properties during testing than the other porous shape memory alloys fabricated by Self-propagating High-temperature Synthesis (SHS). These advance properties may apply to but not only limited to orthopaedic implants such as artificial bone graft, hip prosthesis and interverbal disc prosthesis; and also for engineering purpose such as damping devices.

Abstract: A polarization conditioner for aligning a collimator to provide a polarized light signal. The apparatus includes input and output collimators. An adjustment mechanism can be used to adjust a position of the output collimator in order to align it for receiving one of the polarized light signals from the beam splitter through free space.
