  • Publication number: 20170270777
Abstract: A humanitarian camp shelter communication system for a humanitarian camp is disclosed herein. In embodiments, the humanitarian shelter communication system includes a plurality of shelter nodes, a plurality of individual identifiers, a plurality of tag readers, and a communication controller. Each individual identifier has an identifier tag for identifying each of the individual identifiers to the humanitarian camp shelter communication system. The plurality of tag readers detects the identifier tags. An individual identifier and a shelter node are associated with a displaced person staying at the humanitarian camp. The communication controller can send messages to the plurality of shelter nodes and has a locator operable to determine the location of the individual identifier based on which of the plurality of tag readers detected the identifier tag.

  • Patent number: 9758082
Abstract: An intermodal container for transporting frac proppant, such as frac sand, and/or other types of granular material is disclosed. The intermodal container is designed to receive frac sand from a quarry or other frac sand supply source. Once the container is filled with material, the container is loaded onto a transportation device and transported to a well site. Once received at the well site, the containers can be stacked and the frac sand stored until needed. Once the frac sand is needed, the containers are placed on a base unit and the container discharges its contents onto a conveying system formed as part of the base unit. The conveying system directs the frac sand to a blending location. The empty intermodal containers can be removed from the base unit and loaded onto a transportation device to be refilled at a mine site.

  • Publication number: 20170147101
Abstract: A first polymer latex and second polymer latex can be mixed to form a dried primer layer on a substrate to adhere patterned materials having fine lines. The first polymer latex comprises a first polymer and a first surfactant such that a dried coating of the first polymer latex has a surface polarity of at least 50%. The second polymer latex comprises a second polymer and a second surfactant such that a dried coating of the second polymer latex has a surface polarity of less than or equal to 27%. Moreover, a dried coating of the mixture has a surface polarity of at least 15% and up to and including 50%.
