  • Publication number: 20250017618
Abstract: Disclosed herein are clot treatment systems including integrated/systemized mechanical thrombectomy devices and clot treatment devices, and associated devices and methods. In some embodiments, a method of removing clot material from a blood vessel of patient includes inserting a catheter to proximate the clot material within the blood vessel while radially constraining a clot treatment device and an embolic protection device within the catheter. The method can further include moving the catheter proximally to deploy the clot treatment device at least partially distal to clot material within the blood vessel, and then moving the catheter further proximally to deploy the embolic protection device at least partially proximal to the clot material.

  • Patent number: 12190023
Abstract: A mechanical computer-aided design (MCAD) model representing an object is received. The MCAD model contains a surface with a face defined therein. Deformation of the face is obtained in a simulation based on the MCAD model. The surface is defined by Non-Uniform Rational Basis Spline patches and mapped to a two-dimensional (2-D) parametric grid. The 2-D grid contains a first group of grid points representing the face and a second group of grid points representing outside of the face. The deformation of the face is applied to the first group of grid points. The deformation is extrapolated to the second group of grid points. An updated MCAD model representing a deformed object is generated using the 2-D grid associated with the applied deformation and the extrapolated deformation.

  • Patent number: 12164306
Abstract: Techniques are described for determining to modify a coordinate system in response to the occurrence of a condition. As non-limiting examples, such conditions comprise distance traveled, speed of the vehicle (or system), an amount of computational resources available, a time since the last change, a number of objects present, the presence (or absence) of a particular object proximate the vehicle, a distance to a proximate object, based on a particular frequency, or the like. Such modifications may improve the operation and safety of a computing system used for path planning and trajectory generation by allowing lower precision numerical representations to be used in safety-critical situations while avoiding potential computational errors that would otherwise result from using such a representation.
