Abstract: The present invention discloses a bearing assembly capable of assuring mechanical strength and reducing a friction coefficient and stress concentration, and a method for manufacturing the same. The present invention comprises a spherical journal and a hemispherical bearing that is made of a fiber reinforced composite and has a bearing surface for establishing a spherical pair with the spherical journal. The fiber reinforced composite can be constructed by arranging a uni-directional prepreg, woven fiber prepregs and staple-fiber prepregs in a variety of configurations, and thermoplastic resin particles or self-lubrication particles are uniformly provided on the bearing surface. It is possible to alleviate stress concentration generated on the bearing surface by forming a plurality of air channels capable of imparting directivity on an outer surface of the hemispherical bearing.

Abstract: A text subtitle decoder includes a text subtitle processor, a text renderer, and a presentation controller. The text subtitle processor parses a text subtitle stream into text data and reproduction control information, where the text data represent a subtitle text to be displayed within a text subtitle region. After the text subtitle stream is parsed, the text renderer renders the text data into bitmap data using the reproduction control information. The presentation controller controls operations of the text subtitle processor and the text renderer.

Abstract: The recording medium for reproduction of images includes text subtitle streams. At least one of the text subtitle streams includes text data for a text subtitle and a set of style information corresponding to a set of user-selectable styles, respectively. Each style information includes a unique set of display properties required for displaying the text subtitle within a display screen. When one of the set of user-selectable styles is selected by a user, display properties of the text subtitle within the display screen are automatically changed to the selected style.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method for producing nano-sized Fe powder having a polymer coated layer on a surface thereof, so as to prevent the nano-sized Fe powder from being oxidized under atmosphere. The method includes: gasifying an iron pentacarbonyl (Fe(CO)5) or an iron acetate ((CH3CO2)2Fe) precursor in a ceramic bubbler; forming nano-sized Fe particles due to the crystallization of Fe gas while mixing the gasified precursor with Ar gas in a reactor; and precipitating the nano-sized Fe particles in a polymer solution in a chamber, before the nano-sized Fe particles are oxidized. According to this technique, Fe powder on the order of tens of nms in size, and having a polymer coated layer, are obtained from the Fe precursor. A system for producing the nano-sized Fe powder is also disclosed.

The text subtitle stream includes a dialog style segment defining a set of region styles and at least one dialog presentation segment. Each dialog style segment contains at least one region of dialog text, where each region of dialog text includes link information configured to link each region of dialog text to one of the set of region styles defined in the dialog style segment. For example, the link information is a region style identification which uniquely identifies the region style linked to each region of dialog text. When each region of dialog text is reproduced, the region style identified by the region style identification is applied.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method of synthesizing Fe powders having sizes of tens of nm by vaporizing an iron atom-containing liquid material with a low melting point at high temperatures, and then condensing iron atoms in decomposed Fe and CO gas by chemical vapor condensation. According to the current invention, the synthesizing method includes vaporizing iron pentacarbonyl (Fe(CO)5) or iron acetate ((CH3CO2)2Fe) precursor to gas by use of a ceramic bubbler of a chemical vapor condensation device, decomposing the vaporized gas to Fe in a reactor of the device while being introduced with Ar gas, and condensing the decomposed Fe in a chamber of the device, thereby obtaining the Fe powders having sizes of tens of nm.

The lid has a top and a long cylindrical piece which fits inside the pot body and extends all the way down to the bottom of the pot. A heating band is then located in the lower end of the cylindrical piece towards the bottom of the pot. This heating band heats the entire cylindrical piece, and thus the contents inside the pot.
