  • Patent number: 5528982
Abstract: A gas-cooker frame is provided. The gas-cooker frame includes a gas-cooker stand, a drain frame and several springs. The gas-cooker stand is disposed on the gas-cooker base. The upper end of the gas-cooker stand has an open tube-shape. The stand has a base-plate with a central hole formed therein to form an open passage for providing a space for a gas flame. Several brackets are disposed around the interior of the gas-cooker stand for suspension of a drain frame by springs. The drain frame has a collector ring with drain grooves extending obliquely downward therefrom. The springs maintain the collector ring of the drain frame in contact with the bottom of a pot placed thereon.

  • Patent number: 5517885
Abstract: A screwdriver with slidably stored tool head module, comprising a casing and at least one cartridge slidably received in the casing and formed with multiple chambers for containing a module of multiple tool heads. The casing has a front end for engaging with a support rod in which a tool head is exchangeably fitted, and a rear receptacle for receiving the cartridge. A pushing lever is lengthwise disposed on a lateral side of the cartridge and the casing is formed with a lengthwise guiding channel on a lateral side for receiving and lengthwise slidably guiding the pushing lever. The cartridge is easily lengthwise movable outward from the casing for selectively taking out a tool head of the module from the cartridge or placing a used tool head into the cartridge.

  • Patent number: 5499562
Abstract: An exchangeable screwdriver with work-head storage module(s) mainly consisting of a support, a shank disposed in front of the support for connecting at its front end an exchangeable work-head, and at least one cabin type module detachably connected to a rear portion of the support and, together with the support, forming a handle of the screwdriver. Each of the cabin type modules has a plurality of holes provided at its front surface to each stably receive a spare exchangeable work-head therein. Multiple cabin type modules may be sequentially connected together to provide work-head storage space that is not limited by the size of a general screwdriver handle, so that the storage and carrying of multiple spare exchangeable work-heads can be more convenient.

  • Patent number: 5251305
Abstract: An apparatus for preventing bus contention among a plurality of data sources is described which creates signals to be used to disable two of three data sources which share a common bus immediately prior to a bus access cycle. The circuit employs a negative edge triggered flip-flop. This flip-flop generates disable signals which are shifted in phase by 90.degree. with respect to the bus access clock signal. These signals are active one-quarter of a clock cycle before a new bus cycle begins. The early disable serves to clear the bus for access by substantially eliminating the possibility that a slowly responding disabled data source is still active while a quickly responding enabled data source has just become active. The early disabling of the data signals does not result in loss of data. When all data sources on the bus are turned off, a high signal simply goes higher and a low signal rises slowly.

  • Patent number: 5084982
Abstract: A combined vernier gauge and protractor includes a primary rule having thereon a regular scale, a secondary piece slidable on the primary rule, and a protractor having a straight side pivotally mounted on and alongside the secondary piece. Such a device is provided in order that it can both provide the functions of a vernier gauge and a protractor. The secondary piece includes a vernier scale capable of cooperating with the regular scale to enable the present device to have a more accurate measurement.

  • Patent number: 4567849
Abstract: For HgCdTe liquid phase epitaxy (LPE), in situ differential thermal analysis apparatus is used to precisely monitor the liquidus temperature of each HgCdTe melt. The neutral body, e.g. a slug of copper enclosed in a silica ampoule, is placed near the LPE reactor in a furnace. During heating or cooling, differential sensing of a pair of thermocouples (in the melt and in the neutral body) will show an accelerated change at transformation points, since at these points the temperature of the melt will be changed by the energy of the physical change, while that of the neutral body remains subject only to passive heat transfer. Thus, the actual liquidus temperature of each melt can be measured with extreme precision, and isothermal or programmed cooling methods of LPE can be precisely and reliably controlled under production conditions.
