Abstract: A removable hard disk drive holder made of a plastic unit enveloping a metallic unit comprises a bracket, a plate and a handle. The bracket has a front panel and two side plates. The two side plates extend toward the same direction perpendicularly from the opposite edge of the front panel. The front panel has a front panel pivot portion arranged over one edge thereof The plate slidably engages with the front panel and has a latch fastening portion. The handle has a handle pivot portion and the handle fastening portion conforming to the latch fastening portion. The handle pivot portion is arranged over one edge of the handle and pivotally connected to the front panel pivot portion. The removable hard disk drive is structurally firm, light and thin and minimizing associated members.

The secondary plate slides into the tray-like primary plate to form the individual rack with hollow compartment there-between. The thickness of the rack arises from a primary positioning portion of the primary plate. The hollow compartment is further divided into connection and cable compartments by at least one pair of primary and secondary partitions.

The pivoting member has a force-receiving end and a force-transmitting end. The force-transmitting end is movable by the force-receiving end. The latch member has a locking strip and at least one locking portion. The force-transmitting end is connected to one end of the locking strip. The force-transmitting end works cooperatively with an elastic member, such that the locking strip and the locking portion are reciprocable in parallelism with a releasing direction.

The resilient waterproof member includes a resilient body and at least one waterproof structure. The resilient body surrounds the screw head, and the at least one waterproof structure is disposed around a periphery of the resilient body. A width of the at least one waterproof structure is increasing from a side close to the thread portion to a side far from the thread portion. The at least one waterproof structure seals a hole on a housing cooperatively with the resilient body when the screw body screws the housing onto the screwing structure.

Abstract: Systems and methods utilizing the network layer and/or application layer to provide security in distributed computing systems in order to thwart denial of service attacks. The systems and methods of the present invention utilize puzzles placed at the network layer level and/or application layer level to protect against denial of service attacks. Further, the systems and methods of the present invention advantageously provide a robust and flexible solution to support puzzle issuance at arbitrary points in the network, including end hosts, firewalls, and routers and thereby a defense against denial of service attacks.

Abstract: An interconnect structure of an integrated circuit and manufacturing method therefore are provided, relating to an interconnect structure of flexible packaging. The interconnect structure includes a first and a second conductive pads. A plurality of tiny and conductive first pillars is respectively formed on the first and second pads. With different densities and thicknesses of the first and second pillars, a contact strength can be generated when the pillars interconnecting with each other, such that the pillars are connected closely. Furthermore, the interconnect structure can also be used to connect with fibers made of conductive materials. Moreover, the higher the density of the pillars, the stronger the contact strength. And, electronic substrates and active or passive electronic elements can be stuck on the other side of each pad. Therefore, the interconnect structure can maintain flexibility and have high reliability without being enhanced by any thermosetting polymer.
