    Abstract: A method for fabricating capacitor is disclosed. The method includes the steps of: providing a material layer; forming a patterned first conductive layer on the material layer, forming a first dielectric layer on the patterned first conductive layer; forming a second conductive layer and a cap layer on the first dielectric layer; removing part of the cap layer to form a spacer on the second conductive layer; and using the spacer to remove part of the second conductive layer for forming a trench above the patterned first conductive layer and fin-shaped structures adjacent to the trench.

    Abstract: A back side illumination image sensor pixel structure includes a substrate having a front side and a back side opposite to the front side, a sensing device formed in the substrate to receive an incident light through the back side of the substrate, two oxide-semiconductor field effect transistor (OS FET) devices formed on the front side of the substrate, and a capacitor formed on the front side of the substrate. The two OS FET devices are directly stacked on the sensing device and the capacitor is directly stacked on the OS FET devices. The two OS FET devices overlap the sensing device, and the capacitor overlaps both of the OS FET devices and the sensing device.

When a short-circuit condition occurs between the high-voltage battery and the low-voltage battery or the low-voltage battery is reversely connected in polarity, the control unit generates a control signal to control the protection circuits to disconnect the connection between the low-voltage battery and a low-voltage device, and the DC conversion unit.

    Abstract: There is disclosed a rotary-pad gas lift plunger. In an embodiment, the pads rotate around the mandrel. This rotation movement results from two features. The first one is the assembly of the mandrel and the pad retaining rings. The second one is the shape of the wearing pad. The rotation movement results from the plunger travel up and down within the tubing. Rotation with uniform wearing helps to maintain the sealing effect between the wearing pads and the inside of the tubing. This uniform wearing on the surface of pads improves efficiency to displace oil and water from oil and gas wells. The uniform wearing also causes a significant increase in the service life of the plunger. Because of the rotation movement, this gas lift plunger can operate in deviated wells where a typical gas lift plunger is restricted.

    Abstract: A battery power integration apparatus includes a power converter, a battery control module, and a relay. The power converter has an input side and an output side, and the input side is connected to a high-voltage DC voltage. The battery control module includes a relay control circuit and a pre-charge control circuit. The relay is connected to the input side of the power converter and the battery control module. The pre-charge control circuit receives a pre-charge enable signal generated from the power converter to pre-charge the input side of the power converter. The power converter steps down the high-voltage DC voltage to output a low-voltage DC voltage at the output side thereof when the relay control circuit turns on the relay, thus supplying the required power for low-voltage devices inside a hybrid electric vehicle.

    Abstract: A laser processing device has a laser source and a high speed vibration unit. The laser source has a laser-emitting end being capable of emitting a laser beam adapted to process a workpiece. The high speed vibration unit is located on a moving path of the laser beam and is capable of vibrating periodically along a direction parallel to the moving path of the laser beam such that the focusing point of the laser beam moves periodically on the workpiece at high speed.
