    Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide a layout architecture for a standard cell integrated circuit having an array of logic cells. A plurality of first power rails is above a substrate, each of the first power rails being coupled to a power supply and extending across the logic cells. Adjacent first power rails are coupled to different voltage supplies. A filler capacitor is positioned beneath three or more adjacent first power rails and coupled to first and second voltage supplies. The filler capacitor comprises a first MOS capacitor formed with a first gate overlapping a first base in a first active region, the first gate coupled to the first voltage supply and the first base coupled to the second voltage supply. A middle first power rail of the three or more adjacent first power rails extends across the first active region.

By accumulating the number of Z pass and Z fail during shadow volume rendering, the performance can be improved by adaptively selecting the z pass algorithm or the z fail algorithm. Accordingly, one of the algorithms (z-pass or z-fail) with better performance is used as the shadow volume algorithm for next frame.

    Abstract: The present invention provides an optical disc which includes a substrate, a groove, a first recordable material layer, a reflective layer, a second recordable material layer, a protective layer, and a label layer. The groove is formed on a surface of the substrate. The reflective layer is formed over the first recordable material layer which is formed over the groove. Moreover, the protective layer is formed over the second recordable material layer while the second recordable material layer is formed over the reflective layer. Finally, the label layer is formed over the protective layer such that an area of the protective layer is exposed. The label layer thereon is used to form an image by the use of an optical pickup unit. More particularly, the second recordable material layer, below the exposed area of the protective layer, is used to record or read the information relative to the image on the second recordable material layer.

The label side also has a plurality of partitions defined thereon. The partition marks are arranged on the label side and initially set in a first state. The partition marks are capable of converting from the first state into a second state. Each partition marks corresponds to one of the partitions.
