When a controller receives the data transmitted from a remote device, a data journal is generated and stored into the first storage unit. After a message of “successfully received” is sent back to the remote device, the data is transferred to the second storage unit.

In another embodiment, the power manager circuit may assert multiple block enables to the power gated block (which are connected to separate sets of power switches), and may control the timing of assertion of the enables to control the rate at which power switches are enabled.

Then, if the PDA receives the state signal when the PDA is in a sleep state, the PDA is wakened and an input source of an audio element inside the PDA is switched to the wireless communication system. An electromagnetic wave signal is received by a wireless communication element and converted into audio data. Afterwards, the audio data is transmitted from the wireless communication system to the PDA and outputted by the audio element.
