  • Publication number: 20110200139
Abstract: A method for reducing the quantization effect of precoding operations utilizing a finite codebook in multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) or multiple-input single-output (MISO) systems from a transmitter to a receiver is provided. First, downlink channel state information is obtained at the receiver side. A set of indices of precoding matrices or a set of precoding matrices within the finite codebook are determined according to the obtained downlink channel state information at the receiver side. The selected indices of precoding matrices and a set of scalar coefficients are transmitted from the receiver to the transmitter. Thereafter, a refined precoding matrix is generated based on the set of indices of precoding matrices and the one or more scalar coefficients at the transmitter side. The refined precoding matrix is applied for transmission between the transmitter and the receiver.

  • Patent number: 7957459
Abstract: A symbol rate testing method based on signal waveform analysis is provided. A signal with a plurality of quasi bits 1 and a plurality of quasi bits 0 is received and sampled within an acquiring time. Maximum values of the quasi bits 1 are obtained by calculating sampling values of the signal at various sampling points. A minimum value among the maximum values is determined as a critical value. Whether a quasi bit 1 is a bit 1 or not is determined according to the critical value, and a total number of the bits 1 within the acquiring time is counted. Similarly, a number of the bits 0 within the acquiring time are also obtained. Thus, the symbol rate is obtained according to the above information.

  • Publication number: 20110102185
Abstract: A power-driven window shade mainly utilizes a controlling device connected to an alarm which includes a power storage respectively connected to a power device and a processing unit of the controlling device, and a detector connected to the power device. If a sudden interruption of electricity supply occurs while the window shade is still running, the detector would generate a warning signal reaction to any abnormal electrical variation and transmit it to the processing unit. Whereby, the processing unit helps a counter save its counting value via the electricity pre-stored in the power storage, and by following the previous saved counting value, the counter is able to continue its counting after resuming the electricity supply. Thus, the present invention preferably prevents from the conventional potential rolling error as well as inconvenient resetting due to an unexpected shutdown of electricity supply.
