    Abstract: A fabrication method for an integrated device having a capacitor in an interconnect system is described. At least a first exposed metal line and a second metal line are provided in an insulating layer. A stack layer is deposited and patterned to form a film stack structure over the second metal line. An inter-metal dielectric layer is formed over the film stack structure, the first metal line and the insulating layer. At least a first dual damascene interconnect and a second dual damascene interconnect are formed over and in contact with the first metal line and the film stack structure, respectively.

    Abstract: A method of multiple language web content management. The method is suitable for use in a system including at least one web server, at least one language database and a management interface. The web server first links to the language database corresponding to the language type of the web content, and obtains the dynamic data corresponding to the language type from the language database. The dynamic data and the static data are then combined, and displayed as web content by the web server. The dynamic data can be modified through the management interface, and the modified dynamic data is stored in the corresponding language database according to its language type, and is displayed by the web server.

    Abstract: A DIY cabinet has a foldable frame, a top panel, a bottom panel, a rear panel and multiple pop-it fasteners. The panels are attached to the foldable frame with the pop-it fasteners. Each pop-it fastener is composed of a countersunk tube and a stud. The countersunk tubes are pressed into head holes in panels, and the studs are screwed into and extend from base holes in the foldable frame and align with corresponding head holes in the panels. The studs extending from the base holes are pressed respectively into the countersunk tube in the head holes. Thereby, the panels are conveniently mounted on the foldable frame without using any tools. Moreover, the foldable frame can be folded to reduce the size of the disassembled DIY cabinet.

Moreover, the invention provides a method for preparing a nylon 66 copolymer containing dimeric acid comonomers, which comprising reacting 60.0˜90 mol % of hexadiacid and hexadiamine, 0.1˜3.0 mol % of dimeric acid and 0.1-3.0 mol % of 2-methyl-1,5-pentadiamine in a polymerization reaction. The reaction temperature for both of the methods are at 200˜280° C.

The agglomerated titanium disilicide layer is formed from a RTA procedure, applied to a smooth titanium disilicide layer, located on the polysilicon, storage node electrode.

    Abstract: A method for preparing nylon 6 copolymer containing 5-sulfoisophthalate salts comonomer. The method includes the steps of reacting 5-sulfoisophthalate salts ester with aliphatic diamine in a molar ratio of 2˜20 at 160˜200° C., followed by completely removing the unreacted aliphatic diamine, to obtain the intermediate compound with terminal amine, 5-sulfobenzenediamide compound (formula III). Next, caprolactam and aliphatic diacid (formula IV) are reacted at 200˜260° C. to form an oligomer with a low molecular weight. 5-Sulfobenzenediamide (formula III) and catalyst are then added into the oligomer obtained in previous step to cause a polymerization reaction at 200˜280° C. to obtain nylon 6 copolymer containing 5-sulfoisophthalate salt comonomer. The molar ratio of E/C is 0.005˜0.150 and the molar ratio of D/E is 1.05-1.00. Compounds present in the water extract are greatly reduced.

    Abstract: A keypad device including a parallel/serial conversion device, a keypad module, and a controller coupled to the parallel/serial conversion device and the keypad module. The keys in the keypad module are arranged in parallel. After the key is triggered, an interrupt signal will be fed to the controller. On receiving the interrupt signal, the controller will feed a drive voltage to the keypad module generating a parallel signal therein. After causing the parallel/serial conversion device to read and store the parallel signal, the controller will be able to read the parallel signal serially by using the clock signals. The status of the keypad module can thereby be obtained.

    Abstract: A circuit and operating method for an integrated interface of a PDA and a wireless communication system are disclosed. The circuit includes a PDA-turn-on-wireless-communication-system signal line, a PDA-reset-wireless-communication-system signal line, a PDA-state signal line, a wireless-communication-system-state/wake-up-PDA signal line and two serial ports, wherein the serial ports are electrically connected between the PDA and the wireless communication system, and one of the two ports is used to transmit control signal and status data, another one of the two ports is used to transmit digital data signals. Moreover, the PDA-turn-on-wireless-communication-system signal line and the PDA-reset-wireless-communication-system signal line makes the PDA able to turn on and reset the wireless communication system, respectively. The PDA-state signal line and the wireless-communication-system-state/wake-up-PDA signal line transmit the status of the PDA and wireless communication system to each other.

    Abstract: A method and structure for forming a modified field oxide region having increased field oxide threshold voltages (Vth) and/or reduced leakage currents between adjacent device areas is achieved. The method involves forming a field oxide using the conventional local oxidation of silicon (LOCOS) using a patterned silicon nitride layer as a barrier to oxidation. After forming the LOCOS field oxide by thermal oxidation and removing the silicon nitride, a conformal insulating layer composed of silicon oxide is deposited and anisotropically etched back to form sidewall insulating portions over the bird's beak on the edge of the LOCOS field oxide, thereby forming a new modified field oxide. P-channel implants are formed in the device areas. Then a second implant is used to implant through the modified field oxide to provide channel-stop regions with modified profiles that increase the field oxide Vth and/or reduce leakage current between device areas.

A motor-control device includes a driving circuit for enabling rotation of the motor in one of positive and negative directions under the control of a control unit, a current limiting circuit for limiting current flow from an external power source to the driving circuit when the motor is subjected to an increase in load resistance, and an over load detector for generating a control signal that is indicative of the amount of current flowing from the current limiting circuit to the driving circuit and that is provided to the control unit, thereby enabling the control unit to deactivate the driving circuit for stopping operation of the motor when overloading of the motor occurs.

    Abstract: A new method is provided for treating the surface of a layer of passivation where this layer of passivation comprises silicon dioxide or silicon nitride. An oxygen rich layer is created over the surface of the layer of passivation. Under the first embodiment of the invention a layer of silicon oxide is deposited over the surface of a substrate, a layer of plasma enhanced silicon nitride is deposited over the surface of the layer of silicon oxide, and a layer of oxynitride is deposited over the surface of the layer of plasma enhanced silicon nitride. Under the second embodiment of the invention a layer of silicon oxide is deposited over the surface of a substrate, a layer of silicon nitride is deposited over the surface of layer of silicon oxide. The surface of the layer of silicon nitride is oxidized by N2O or O2 plasma treatment.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a method of determining latent HIV infection by detecting low-abundant HIV nucleic acid sequences in samples of cellular DNA or in paraffin-fixed tissue sections or frozen sections. This technique calls for one primer for an Alu sequence in the human chromosomal DNA and the other primer near the end of the viral LTR. PCR-amplified DNA is then hybridized with a probe which only recognizes the amplified LTR sequence. This probe could be labeled in different ways, and quantitative assays for latent HIV or other retroviruses infection could be developed.
