  • Patent number: 8347002
Abstract: An apparatus for transmitting a video signal includes a signal detector, a multiplexer and a transmitter. The signal detector detects the video signal from the source to determine whether the horizontal sync signal and the vertical sync signal of the video signal are independent or composite. The multiplexer generates a composite sync signal by combining the horizontal sync signal and the vertical sync signal with reference to timing characteristics of the horizontal sync signal and the vertical sync signal while the horizontal sync signal and the vertical sync signal are detected as independent signals, and passes the composite sync signal while the horizontal sync signal and the vertical sync signal are detected as the composite sync signal. The transmitter transmits the video signal with the composite sync signal to the destination via a media. A method for transmitting the video signal is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 8106323
Abstract: A potential switching apparatus for a power adapter which transforms input power to output power delivered through a power output cord. The potential switch apparatus switches the potential of the output power. It includes a first body and a second body located on the power output cord. The first body has a first contact and a second contact. The second body has a switch element connectable to the first contact to deliver the output power at a first potential and connectable to the second contact to deliver the output power at a second potential. Thus the potential of the output power can be switched. The present invention improves the conventional potential switch device on the power adapter that is too bulky in size.

  • Publication number: 20090080538
Abstract: An apparatus for transmitting a video signal has a receiver, a processor and a multiplexer. The receiver receives the video signal and separates a composite sync signal from the video signal. The processor generates a vertical sync signal and a selecting signal with reference to timing characteristics of the composite sync signal. The multiplexer generates a horizontal sync signal by selectively outputting the composite sync signal when the selecting signal is at a first logic level and outputting a reference signal when the selecting signal is at a second logic level. • Publication number: 20050115492
Abstract: A method and the apparatus of the chemical metal organic vapor epitaxy for the multi-chamber epitaxy layer deposition can process many epitaxy reactions of the organic light-emitting diodes at the same time. More, the different types of epitaxy layers can individual react while passing through the adjustment of time periods. By using the multiple organic light-emitting diodes, it can form multiple epitaxy layers with varying types at the same time. Therefore, it achieves the purpose of shortening the manufacturing process.

  • Patent number: 6825498
Abstract: The present invention discloses a light emitting diode (LED) by using a P-type ZnTe layer or a ZnSe layer as a substrate. To match the lattice between the substrate and blue light LED of cubic crystal, a BP(boron phosphide) buffer layer of single crystal is formed on the substrate. When the blue light LED emits blue light of wavelength from 450 nm to 470 nm, the ZnTe or ZnSe substrate absorbs the blue light and emits yellow-green light of wavelength 550 nm. Thus, white light is produced by mixing the blue light and the yellow-green light.
