  • Patent number: 8725460
Abstract: An alerting method for fan failure first reads a target value of rotating speed of a fan motor. Predetermining values of each parameters of the fan motor is calculated according to the target value of rotating speed of the fan motor. If a current value of rotating speed of the fan motor is lower than the target value of rotating speed of the fan motor, the failure recorded in a counter is added one time. If a current peak value of the fan motor is higher than a first predetermining current value, the failure recorded in the counter is added one time. If the duration of the current which is higher than a second predetermining current value of the fan motor is higher than a predetermining duration, the failure recorded in the counter is added one time. An alarm signal is sent if the failure recorded in the counter is larger than a predetermining time.

  • Patent number: 8577869
Abstract: To prevent memory cells from being damaged, the present invention provides a data storage method for an electronic device, which comprises dividing a first section of a memory of the electronic device into N blocks, wherein each of the N blocks is corresponding to a sequence number and assigned an index value; rewriting an assigned index value corresponding to an nth block of the N blocks according to index values corresponding to the N blocks; storing an input data in the nth block; and rewriting the nth block by stored data in the (n?1)th block before storing the input data in the nth block when the index values corresponding to the N blocks are not identical such that a number of times of accessing sections of the memory is averaged, to prevent the memory from being damaged; wherein N is an integer greater than or equal to 1, and 1?n?N.

  • Patent number: 7201597
Abstract: The present invention relates to a connector assembly structure of a terminal used for converting connecting wires. A terminal base is disposed on a frame of a cooling system, and the terminal base has a socket into which a first connector is inserted. The first connector is connected to the connecting wires that are connected to a stator of a motor, and has at least one hook on the periphery thereof. The socket has a releasing hole that corresponds to the hook and engages with the hook so that the first connector is detachable. Additionally, a second connector is adjacent to the first connector, and is connected to the connecting wires to be converted. The electrically interconnection between the first connector and the second connector can satisfy the requirement of converting various connecting wires.
