  • Publication number: 20170083291
Abstract: An automatic probe construction system and the method thereof are provided. The automatic probe construction system includes a data dereference analysis module, a probe selection module, and a probe verification module. The data dereference analysis module dereferences a plurality of target data of an electronic apparatus according to a plurality of pointers, and constructs a plurality of candidate probes. The probe selection module constructs a control flow graph according to the candidate probes and an instruction code of an executable image file, to select via the control flow graph from the candidate probes at least one dedicated probe. The probe verification module searches the executable image file for an instruction code corresponding to the dedicated probe, to verify the dedicated probe. Therefore, the dedicated probe can be constructed automatically, and the number of the dedicated probes is thus limited.

  • Patent number: 9458989
Abstract: Disclosed herein are transparent color displays with nanoparticles made with nonlinear materials and/or designed to exhibit optical resonances. These nanoparticles are embedded in or hosted on a transparent substrate, such as a flexible piece of clear plastic or acrylic. Illuminating the nanoparticles with invisible light (e.g., infrared or ultraviolet light) causes them to emit visible light. For example, a rare-earth doped nanoparticle may emit visible light when illuminated simultaneoulsy with a first infrared beam at a first wavelength ?1 and a second infrared beam at a second wavelength ?2. And a frequency-doubling nanoparticle may emit visible light when illuminated with a single infrared beam at the nanoparticle's resonant frequency. Selectively addressing these nanoparticles with appropiately selected pump beams yields visible light emitted from the nanoparticles hosted by the transparent substrate in a desired pattern.

  • Publication number: 20160216600
Abstract: Transparent displays enable many useful applications, including heads-up displays for cars and aircraft as well as displays on eyeglasses and glass windows. Unfortunately, transparent displays made of organic light-emitting diodes are typically expensive and opaque. Heads-up displays often require fixed light sources and have limited viewing angles. And transparent displays that use frequency conversion are typically energy inefficient. Conversely, the present transparent displays operate by scattering visible light from resonant nanoparticles with narrowband scattering cross sections and small absorption cross sections. More specifically, projecting an image onto a transparent screen doped with nanoparticles that selectively scatter light at the image wavelength(s) yields an image on the screen visible to an observer. Because the nanoparticles scatter light at only certain wavelengths, the screen is practically transparent under ambient light.

  • Patent number: 8497603
Abstract: A portable electronic apparatus and a connection method therefore are disclosed. The portable electronic apparatus comprises a connector, a processing circuit, and a switch module. After a plug is plugged into the connector, the processing circuit reads a voltage value of the plug via the switch module. When determining that the voltage value of the plug is within a first voltage range, the processing circuit outputs switch signals to the switch module, so that an input signal of the plug is able to be transmitted to the processing circuit via the connector and the switch module. When determining that the voltage value of the plug is within a second voltage range, the processing circuit outputs other switch signals to the switch module, so that an output signal of the processing circuit is able to be transmitted to the plug via the switch module and the connector.

  • Publication number: 20130008280
Abstract: A brake handle of the present invention includes a handle member and an adjusting member. The handle member has a slide block, and the adjusting member has a slide chute corresponding to the slide block, so that the slide block can be movably received in the slide chute, wherein the slide block is disposed with an aperture, a bead and an elastic member. The aperture receives the bead and the elastic member therein. The slide chute is disposed with several notches. The bead elastically abuts against one of the notches when the slide block is received in the slide chute. Thereby, the adjusting member can be moved with respect to the handle member so as to change the length of the brake handle. As a result, a rider can rapidly adjust the brake handle with ease.
