    Abstract: An electronic device includes a jack, a voltage processing unit, a measuring unit, a data transmission unit and a switching unit. The jack is adapted to receive a plug of an electronic accessory and has at least one first contact terminal and one second contact terminal. The voltage processing unit is adapted to detect whether a voltage is present at the second contact terminal when a second contact of the plug is in contact with the second contact terminal of the jack. The measuring unit is adapted to measure a parameter resulted from the contact of the first contact terminal of the jack with a first contact of the plug. The data transmission unit is adapted to transmit to or receive from the electronic accessory a data signal through the first contact terminal of the jack. The switching unit is adapted to selectively connect the first contact terminal of the jack electrically to the data transmission unit or the measuring unit according to whether the voltage is present or not.

    Abstract: The invention provides a method for an electronic device for automatically detecting and identifying a peripheral device. The electronic device comprises a connector having a first pin and a second pin and connects to a peripheral device through the connector. The method comprises the steps of determining whether the peripheral device is connected to the connector; reading a first state of the first pin and the second pin when determining that the peripheral device is connected to the connector; setting a voltage of the first pin to a first voltage level and then reading a second state of the first pin and the second pin; and identifying the peripheral device according to the first state and the second state. The invention also provides an electronic device and an electronic system utilizing the above-mentioned method.

Forming has forming a membrane of transparent, acid-proof, insulated plastic on the substrate. Processing has removing local area membrane and corresponding oxide layer from the substrate and cleaning. Reprocessing has disposing the clean substrate in a subsequent electrolytic solution to form a subsequent oxide layer on areas of the substrate exposed by the membrane by anodizing.

The movable member is assembled to a rotating member via a pivot member in such a manner that the movable member can axially move along and radially rotate around the guide rod. The pivot member is disposed between the movable member and the rotating member and powered to rotate. The rotating member is provided with a disc-carrying device in a direction of its rotation around the pivot member for taking the disc. The pivot member drives the disc to rotate via the rotating member, so as to turn over the disc, so that the rotating member makes the disc slide down into the tray in an inclined manner.

    Abstract: A portable electronic apparatus and a connection method therefore are disclosed. The portable electronic apparatus comprises a connector, a processing circuit, and a switch module. After a plug is plugged into the connector, the processing circuit reads a voltage value of the plug via the switch module. When determining that the voltage value of the plug is within a first voltage range, the processing circuit outputs switch signals to the switch module, so that an input signal of the plug is able to be transmitted to the processing circuit via the connector and the switch module. When determining that the voltage value of the plug is within a second voltage range, the processing circuit outputs other switch signals to the switch module, so that an output signal of the processing circuit is able to be transmitted to the plug via the switch module and the connector.

The adjusting device is connected to the body, engages the lever and has a switch, a positioning element and an engaging block. The switch is mounted on the pivot segment. The positioning element is mounted in the switch and engages the detents of the pivot panels. The engaging block is connected to and moved by the switch and engages the rib of the lever to allow adjustment of the lever relative to a handlebar.

    Abstract: A ratchet gear device is applied for a bicycle rear wheel having a wheel axle and a hub mounted on the wheel axle, and the ratchet gear device has a freewheel, a collar, a ratchet ring and at least one permanent magnet. The freewheel is mounted around the wheel axle and has multiple wedging teeth. The collar is magnetic, is mounted securely in the hub and has multiple engaging teeth. The ratchet ring is mounted in the collar and has multiple engaging slots and multiple ratchet teeth. The engaging slots engage the engaging teeth in the collar. The ratchet teeth engage the wedging teeth on the freewheel. The at least one permanent magnet is attached to the ratchet ring to provide a magnetic force to move the ratchet ring to an engaging position where the ratchet teeth engages the wedging teeth on the freewheel.

    Abstract: A handle grip has a body and at least one clamping ring. The body is tubular and has two ends, an outer surface and two mounting rings. The two mounting rings coaxially and respectively protrude from the two ends of the body. The clamping ring is mounted securely on one of the mounting rings of the body and has an opening, a fastening hole and a fastener. The opening is a slot formed through the clamping ring. The fastening hole is tangentially formed through the clamping ring and either side of the opening. A person may mount the body on handlebars of a motorcycle or a handle of a tool and use the clamping ring to ensure the body is held securely.
