  • Publication number: 20240079010
Abstract: A method of controlling a battery-powered remote controller to decrease a duty cycle to allow continued operations despite the quantity of the battery is bad. The method determines a drop in voltage of the battery in standby mode as voltage of the battery is being read. When receiving a command to activate a voice function, determining whether the drop in voltage in the standby mode is greater than or equal to a preset value. If the drop is greater than or equal to the preset value, the method then determines whether the drop in voltage falls in a preset range. If the drop falls in the preset range, the method regulates a duty cycle of the pulse signal activating the voice function, and activates the voice function as required. A remote controller and a non-transitory storage medium are also provided.

  • Patent number: 11924444
Abstract: Method and apparatus for constrained de-blocking filter are disclosed. One method receives input data related to a current block in a current picture at a video encoder side or a video bitstream corresponding to compressed data including the current block in the current picture at a video decoder side, and determines a first boundary associated with the current block, wherein the first boundary corresponds to one vertical boundary or one horizontal boundary of the current block. The method then applies de-blocking process to a reconstructed current block corresponding to the current block to result in a filtered-reconstructed current block, using a plurality of first reference samples at a same side of the first boundary, and replaces a first set of the first reference samples by one or more padding values. The method then generates a filtered decoded picture including the filtered-reconstructed current block.

  • Publication number: 20210381777
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a heat dissipation device is disclosed. The heat dissipation device manufactured with the method includes two titanium metal sheets and a metal mesh. According to the method, the two titanium metal sheets and the metal mesh are subjected to a surface treatment, so that surface of any one of the titanium metal sheets and the metal mesh is modified to form a hydrophilic layer. With these arrangements, the titanium metal material can be freely plastically deformed and possess a capillary force, and the titanium metal sheet can therefore be used in place of the conventional copper sheet to serve as a material for making heat dissipation devices. The heat dissipation devices so produced can have largely reduced weight and largely improved heat dissipation performance.
