  • Patent number: 8691789
Abstract: A tumor radiation probe of iodine-123 marker thymidine (FLT) analogue [123I]-IaraU is disclosed. Commercial available uridine is used as the raw material for the synthesis of the precursor. A radioactive iodine-123 is marked on an alkaline group of uridine to obtain [123I]-IaraU, which is distinguishable from [18F]-FLT marking 18F on a glycosyl group to obtain a novel tumor radiation probe. The marking procedures include mixing the marker precursor with Na [123I] solution, acetic acid and hydrogen peroxide solution, and the solution of chloroform and sodium hydroxide. The sonication time increases from 1 minute to 10 minutes, so that [123I]-IaraU has radiologically chemical purity of higher than 98% and radiological specific activity of not less than 0.196 GBq/umole, and the yield can increase from 8% to 40%. Its radioactive specific activity, yield and purity reach to the degree for the use in biological experiments, while reducing production cost.

  • Publication number: 20140015799
Abstract: An optical touch system and a touch point calculation method thereof are provided. The optical touch system includes a first lens, a second lens and a screen. The first and second lenses are disposed on the same side of the screen and face to the other side of the screen. In the method, images of a touch object above the screen are captured and used to calculate a first and a second touch signal of the touch object touching the screen before and after a preset time. Then, it is determined whether a width difference of the first and second touch signals exceeds a predetermined threshold. If yes, a third touch signal corresponding to the first touch signal relative to the second touch signal is calculated. Finally, positions of the first touch signal and the third touch signal are taken as locations of two touch points on the screen.

Abstract: A mobile communication device and an impedance matching method thereof are provided. The mobile communication device includes an antenna, a power amplifier, a tunable matching circuit, a power detection circuit and a controller. The tunable matching circuit determines an output impedance encountered by a radio frequency (RF) signal transmitted by the power amplifier to the antenna when the RF signal enters the tunable matching circuit. The power detection circuit detects a forward power of the RF signal entering the antenna and a reflected power of the antenna. The controller tunes the tunable matching circuit according to a frequency range currently used by the mobile communication device, the forward power and the reflected power to steer the output impedance toward a corresponding load-pull impedance that the power amplifier has in the frequency range.

  • Publication number: 20130141393
Abstract: A frameless optical touch device includes an indication plane, an image sensing unit, a light emitting unit and a processing unit. There is no any frame disposed on a periphery of the indication plane such that a first light from an external environment can enter a sensing region defined on the indication plane through the periphery of the indication plane. The light emitting unit emits a second light to the sensing region. When there is no any touch object in the sensing region, the image sensing unit senses the first and second lights to generate a first image. When a touch object is in the sensing region, the image sensing unit senses the first and second lights to generate a second image. The processing unit compares brightness of the first image with brightness of the second image so as to obtain a position blocked by the touch object.
