    Abstract: A screw with wave thread including a head, a shank extending therefrom, and a thread spirally disposed on the shank; in particular, the thread has respective first and second threaded sections. Each thread unit of the second threaded section defines a continuous wave-shaped directrix around the shank for a base. A plurality of thread segments are formed on each thread unit of the second threaded section, and each of which has an upper flank as well as a lower flank extended from the shank and disposed along the wave shape directrix to form into a wavy arrangement around shank, thereby disposing more peaks converged by the upper flank and the lower flank for increasing the drilling capability.

    Abstract: A label side of a light-scribe optical disc includes a control feature zone recording therein reference information of the optical disc and a label zone to be marked based on the reference information. An optical head is moved in the label zone to determine a first FE gain and a first sub-beam addition (SBAD) signal by way of focusing servo technology. The optical head is further moved in the control feature zone to determine a second SBAD Signal. The first and second SBAD signals are operated to obtain a ratio. The ratio is used with the first FE gain to estimate a second FE gain for accessing to the control feature zone.

    Abstract: An apparatus-testing mask and a method for calibrating essential parameters of exposure apparatuses on the optics principle base are provided. The mask includes a light-transparent substrate and calibration patterns disposed on the light-transparent substrate. Wherein, each of the calibration patterns includes a recognition pattern having symmetricity, a comparison pattern disposed around the recognition pattern and two pairs of calibration reticles disposed around the comparison pattern and extending along four directions (for example, 0°, 45°, 90° and 135°), respectively. By using the mask to calibrate the exposure apparatuses, the uptime of the exposure apparatuses is enhanced, the masks used for calibration are unified and some essential parameters of an exposure apparatus, such as focal length, skew degree and phase error are able to be calibrated using an auto-feedback system.

    Abstract: The invention relates to an optical mouse, comprising a base unit, a transmitter and a receptor installed in the base unit to obtain coordinates, a transparent or semi-transparent sensing board that is installed above the transmitter and the receptor, and an accommodating chamber to accommodate the sensing board. The sensing board is capable of movement, front and back, left and right, inside the accommodating chamber, so designed that the signals transmitted from the transmitter are reflected by the sensing board back to the receptor to measure its coordinates. Then, whenever there is any movement of the sensing board, the change of movement is calculated to indicate the movement of cursor, so that the optical mouse can be used to move the cursor.
