Abstract: The present disclosure talks about an integrated boot for use with a connector. The connector is connected to an inner optical fibre cable. The integrated boot includes a boot part and an elf part. The elf part is integral to the boot part. The boot part holds the connector with the inner optical fibre cable. The boot part connects a first end of the inner optical fibre cable to the connector. The elf part is capable of engaging with a transport tube when the elf part is pushed into the transport tube. The inner optical fibre cable passes through the transport tube.

Abstract: An improved foot pull for hands free opening of a door is described. The design provides a more ergonomic engagement of the user by providing an angled plate to engage their foot the plate further including a region treated to prevent slippage of the users foot off of the plate. A pair of the foot pulls can be used in tandem to provide a door stop and a means to hold a door in the open position against a wall. The design can also include actuators that can release a latch on the door. The actuators include mechanical linkages to the door handle. The actuators can also be electronic with wired or wireless connection to the latch on the door and can further be used to signal and actuate any electronic device such as a light or alarm system. The door pull can also include a mechanical cable or a hydraulic connection to actuate the door latch.

Abstract: A two-station self-centering vise to hold a pair of work pieces is described. The pieces are held in place against a centered fixed jaw, being clamped against the centered fixed jaw by a pair of movable jaws located on either side of the centered jaw and that simultaneously move toward or away from the centered jaw on actuation of a lead screw. The vise may be converted to a single station vise by removable of the fixed center jaw. A spring loaded, adjustable, friction pad attached to the base of one of the two movable jaws enables temporary clamping of a first work piece while the second workpiece is being installed and once both workpieces are in place the lead screw is turned further to securely and accurately hold the workpieces in between the movable jaws and the fixed central jaw.

In addition, the internal threads of the gland nut engage with threads of the first threaded portion of the cable gland body. Further, a total length of the gland nut is about 17.87 millimeters. The grommet is positioned partially inside the cable gland body. The protected cable connector enables the optical fibre cable to terminate into an optical fibre distribution box.
