  • Publication number: 20180306997
Abstract: An adapter assembly includes a single-piece or two-piece multi-fiber adapter defining a recess at which a contact assembly is disposed. The adapter assemblies can be disposed within adapter block assemblies or cassettes, which can be mounted to moveable trays. Both ports of the adapters disposed within adapter block assemblies are accessible. Only one port of each adapter disposed within the cassettes are accessible. Circuit boards can be mounted within the block assemblies or cassettes to provide communication between the contact assemblies and a data network.

  • Patent number: 10069582
Abstract: A memory of a parameter setting apparatus stores therein a current value of a signal processing parameter and an auxiliary value for temporarily adjusting the current value. Once an instruction for changing the current value of the parameter is given by an operation, by a user, of a manual operator when an edit mode is ON, a CPU of the parameter setting apparatus not only changes the current value but also changes the auxiliary value in response to the current value change instruction. When the edit mode is OFF, on the other hand, the CPU changes only the current value in response to the current value change instruction without changing the auxiliary value.

  • Patent number: 10052440
Abstract: A surgical device that provides a suction force against a patient's body. The device includes a handle and a suction head pivotally attached to the handle. The suction head includes an open-ended suction chamber having a rim positioned to engage the patient's skin. An actuator on the handle operates a pump to draw a negative pressure in the suction chamber, causing the rim to seal against the patient's skin via the suction force. Once the suction force is initiated, the user may lift the handle away from the patient's body to lift tissue. The lifted tissue provides a site for insertion of a trocar or Veress needle for a laparoscopic procedure in some embodiments. A gimbal disposed between the handle and the suction head provides at least two degrees of freedom such that the handle can be rotated and pivoted to optimize the direction of applied lifting force.

  • Publication number: 20180158086
Abstract: Embodiments of systems and methods for the aggregation, analysis, display and monetization of pricing data for commodities in general, and which may be particularly useful applied to vehicles are disclosed. Specifically, in certain embodiments, historical transaction data associated with a particular vehicle configuration may be obtained and processed to determine pricing data associated with the vehicle configuration. The historical transaction data or determined pricing data may then be presented in an intuitive manner.

  • Patent number: 9944569
Abstract: A granularized sulfonated humate powder material is provided that includes a sulfonated cationic humate composed of at least one of humic acid, fulvic acid, or a combination thereof in the form of granules of from 0.1 to 6 millimeters in size. The humate powder material is water soluble with limited dusting and the ability to form a concentrated solution for application. A process of formulating the sulfonated potassium humate powder in granular form includes a lignin or lignosulfonate being metered into a powder of sulfonated potassium humate to allow for granulation without a solubilizing the powder by matching a lignin particle size to a particle sizing of said powder. The lignin or lignosulfonate and the powder are mixed into the granular form with a granule size of 0.1 to 6 millimeters.

  • Patent number: 9929821
Abstract: A mixing console includes: a plurality of operating regions provided by dividing an operation panel of the mixing console into a plurality of regions, wherein a plurality of channels are allocated to each of the plurality of operating regions. Each of the operating regions includes each of channel selectors, respectively. Each of the channel selectors is configured to select one of the plurality of channels allocated to the operating region corresponding to the channel selector as a selected channel, and to set a plurality of parameters for signal processing on audio signals of the selected channel. Thus, a plurality of selected channels can be selected, and values of the parameters of the plurality of selected channels can be adjusted promptly and in real-time.

  • Patent number: 9902033
Abstract: A tooling base that is an improvement over current designs in the form of simplified number of parts and easier manufacturing of parts is described. The tooling base uses alignment fixtures on threaded rods that are restricted in their movement within the tooling base by stops. The stops are located either on the threaded shafts or on the alignment fixtures. This allowed degree of movement enables simplified part design and manufacture while maintaining the precision and accuracy of registration of a tooling fixture with the tooling base.

  • Publication number: 20170319988
Abstract: A system and method for removing suspended solids from waste water includes flowing a volume of waste water through a series of flow chambers arranged between an inlet and an outlet. Each of the flow chambers includes a flow path that is substantially transverse (orthogonal) to a predominant flow path between the inlet and the outlet. The flow chambers are arranged substantially parallel to each other in a switchback (antiparallel) configuration. Stops (e.g., oil or debris stops) are disposed in one or more flow chambers. The stops are configured to substantially impede (or otherwise reduce) introduction of floating material to a flow chamber immediately downstream of each stop. Weirs are disposed in one or more of the flow chambers. The weirs are configured to substantially impede (or otherwise reduce) introduction of settled solids to a flow chamber immediately downstream of each weir.

  • Patent number: 9429825
Abstract: A modular projector cage for operably supporting an optical projector and for forming a stacked frame using another identical modular projector cage is disclosed. The modular projector cage has a rectangular hexahedral open frame. A mounting plate is connected to a bottom section of the frame by first and second articulated elevation assemblies connected to respective sides of the mounting plate adjacent the mounting plate front end, and by a yaw assembly rotatably connected to the mounting plate adjacent the back end. The first and second articulated elevation assemblies are independently adjustable to adjust the elevation at each side of the plate so that the pitch and roll of the mounting plate can be adjusted. The yaw assembly adjusts the amount of yaw, which causes articulated movement of the first and second articulated elevation assemblies.
