The methods for sending and receiving comprises steps for handling AMS chat sessions in the mobile communication apparatus. The mobile communication comprises means for handling AMS chat sessions.

Abstract: A mobile telephone terminal provides a user with a selectable option to transfer a telephone call to an instant messaging session and to transfer an instant messaging session to a telephone call. A presence attribute indicator for a first party is displayed with an entry associated with the telephone number of the first party. A user has a selectable option for initiating instant messaging with the party. The mobile telephone provides a customised menu of selectable options for initiating communication. The menu is dependent upon received presence attribute information. A calendar application can store the content of an instant messaging dialogue in an appointment record. When an application accesses a stored telephone number of a party the stored instant messaging address of that party is automatically accessed and when the application accesses a stored instant messaging address of a party, the stored telephone number of that party is automatically accessed.

Abstract: Provided is an apparatus that includes a processing unit configured to monitor a quality of user performance in selecting one or more selectable items that are presented on a display. The processing unit is further configured to cause the one or more selectable items to be presented on the display in a modified arrangement based at least in part on the quality of user performance in respectively selecting the one or more selectable items. For example, the processing unit can be configured to cause the selectable items to be presented in a modified arrangement based at least in part on noted frequency of user error in respectively selecting the selectable items and/or on noted rate of user selection in respectively selecting the selectable items. If a previous call/message was missed by a user of a terminal, the processor causes a ringer to increase the volume of a subsequent call/message sent from the user of the electronic device. If a previous call/message was rejected by a user of a terminal, the processor causes the ringer to decrease the volume of a subsequent call/message sent from the user of the electronic device.

An element is either having a continuous length presenting a length which is equal to or greater than the size of said display, or a wrapped length presenting a length which is less than the size of said display. According to one embodiment, a camera control application is arranged to enable the user to control the device using a user input device to capture an image via a digital camera and to present a user selectable option, after capturing an image, for using the captured image as an image field of an entry of the database. Abstract: An electronic device includes a radio tuner capable of receiving broadcast media contents and information about each of the broadcast media contents from a plurality of radio stations; a user communication interface configured for receiving from a user a list of desired broadcast media contents; a memory; and a processor.
