Abstract: In the development of mobile communication there is a trend towards more personalized ways of communication and forms of expression. By using a User-to-User Signalling (UUS) supplementary service that allows a served subscriber to send/receive a limited amount of subscriber generated information to/from another user in association with a call and working parallel to the normal communication channel, personalized items can be transferred during call set-up and during call. Examples of what kind of personalization items are text messages, picture messages, animations or ringing tones.

Abstract: The present invention is a method for providing a best guess for a recipient of a message. The method includes identifying a pattern in the message; searching for the pattern in a pattern list comprising one or more patterns for each addressee in an address list; registering an addressee in a hit list when the pattern is in the pattern list; and determining a first addressee from the hit list and providing the first addressee as a best guess as a recipient of the message.

Abstract: Provided are apparatuses and methods in a digital broadcast transmission system for receiving, processing and rendering transmitted content. A digital receiver capable of receiving and rendering both DVB-H and DVB-T signals may include a coupling means for connecting to another terminal for receiving program data or parameters. The digital receiver may reconfigure one or more components in order to handle the differing signal types. Such a receiver system allows a user to move seamlessly from a mobile device to a stationary device without significant effort and time. The receiver may further use transmission streams of varying priority to enhance and otherwise modify the displayed content according to a user's selection. Users with small display screens or poor eyesight may benefit from such enhancements features.

Abstract: A communication terminal has a predictive text editor for use in a dialogue application. The communication terminal comprises a transceiver unit through which said communication terminal is connected with a network and being able to receive a dialogue input. Language information is identified in said dialogue input. A directory language is automatically selected for said predictive text editor according to the identified language. The predictive text editor uses the selected directory language for transforming a string of ambiguous keystrokes entered by the user into text for said dialogue application.

Abstract: Controlling message handling in a mobile communication terminal. A message creation procedure is initiated followed by assigning a destination address to a message. Message content for the message is recorded and subsequent to the assignment of the destination address, a message received from an originating address is recognized. The originating address of the received message is compared with the destination address of the message being recorded. In a case where the comparison results in that the originating address is equal to the destination address the received message is displayed.
