    Abstract: An iridium complex is used as a phosphorescent material in an organic electroluminescence (OEL). Use this complex as the red light guest dopant emitter of the phosphorescent material, then apply the phosphorescent material to the OEL light-emitting layer, a red light that is very close to pure red can be achieved. In addition, the iridium complex can increase the thermal stability of the OEL, due to their high conjugated structure.

    Abstract: In a memory device with a bank of N memory blocks, an address is generated for a first and a second one of the blocks. The first and second addresses include addresses for current first and second possible “refresh blocks”. If its memory block does not contend with the current first possible refresh block, an externally generated access to one of the N memory blocks is permitted and at least a portion of the refresh block is refreshed during a certain interval. In another aspect, the externally generated access is permitted and at least a portion of the current second possible refresh block is refreshed during the same certain interval if: i) the memory block of the externally generated access contends with the current first possible refresh block and ii) the current first and second possible refresh blocks are different ones of the N memory blocks.

    Abstract: An optical scanning module comprising an outer cover, a plurality of fixing elements, a plurality of reflecting mirrors, a plurality of buffer pads, a lens, an image capturing device and a light source is provided. Each of the fixing elements disposed on the inner wall of outer cover comprises a clip and a reflecting mirror supporting holder. The reflecting mirror supporting holder is manufactured as an integrative unit on the inner wall of the outer cover. The clip has a crooked portion that holds the reflecting mirror and the buffer pads on the reflecting mirror supporting holder. Further, when the reflecting mirror is fixed on the reflecting mirror supporting holder by the clip, the buffer pads are set between the mirrors and the holders. Therefore, the bending or the curling phenomenon of reflecting mirrors and the distortion of image quality can be effectively prevented.

    Abstract: A document sheet conveying unit of the invention comprises a casing in which are mounted an active roller, a plurality of idle rollers, and at least a guide element. The idle rollers are mounted in a manner to be respectively in circumferential contact with the active roller. The guide element is mounted proximate to one of the idle rollers, and has a guide surface with a prolonged plane that is tangent with the corresponding idle roller at its contact point with the active roller. The guide surface thereby orients and guides the document sheet to adequately engage through the active roller and corresponding idle roller. Jam of the document sheet is therefore prevented.

    Abstract: A scanner that includes an outer casing, a platform, a scanning head, a driving device and a linear guide is provided. The scanning head further comprises a shell body, a scattering light source, a set of reflecting mirrors, a lens and a photo-sensor. The scanning head is able to move forward in a scanning direction. The shell body has a long side whose length is smaller than the length of the platform in a direction perpendicular to the scanning direction. Furthermore, the scattering light source has a length smaller than or equal to the length of the long side. With this design, a miniaturized and lighter scanning head is produced so that some material is saved and yet length of the scanning line for scanning a document and size of the platform remain unaffected. Additionally, platform area is fully utilized.

    Abstract: A part number request processing system and method is provided which allows a part number requester to efficiently obtain the verification of the part quality. The system resides in a server having a part specification database for storing a plurality of part specification label having part information and corresponding supplier information and a part test database for storing a plurality of part test records having part information and corresponding part test information. When the server receives a request, it extracts the part number specification information and test results to verify if the parts requested meet the standard, if not met, the supplier is assessed; oppositely, if met the purchase request is sent to the supplier. After delivery of the parts, test information is entered into the server via a network system to update the part specification information and part test information to provide the verification of the part purchase request.

    Abstract: A semiconductor process recording apparatus comprises a buffer circuit and a endpoint recording device. The input terminal of the buffer circuit is connected to an external endpoint apparatus for receiving a first signal output from the endpoint apparatus. The output terminal of the buffer circuit is connected to the endpoint recording device for outputting a second signal representative of the first signal in response to the first signal. When receiving the second signal, the endpoint recording device outputs a feedback signal to the buffer circuit on the basis of the second signal. Because the feedback signal is blocked by the buffer circuit, the external endpoint apparatus is protected from the damage caused by the feedback signal, thereby greatly reducing the production cost and rate of semiconductor manufacturing.

    Abstract: A document guiding device for a document feeder. The document guiding device mainly comprises an inner wall, an outer wall and a lubricating element. The spatial area between the outer wall and the inner wall form a reversing passageway that accommodates a transiting document.
