    Abstract: A pattern projector has a housing and a projection device disposed in the housing. The housing has a base and a cover. The cover is disposed on the base and has a connecting portion connected to the base, a convex portion, and a datum plane. The convex portion protrudes out of a front surface of the connecting portion, and has an outer lens disposed on the convex portion. The datum plane is defined between the connecting portion and the convex portion. A maximum height is defined from an inner surface of the convex portion to the datum plane. A maximum inner diameter of the convex portion is defined on the datum plane. The maximum inner diameter is three times to eleven times as long as the maximum height. A pattern projected by the projection device will not be distorted.

    Abstract: An intelligent insole is provided. The intelligent insole includes an insole body, a pressure sensor, a temperature sensor, a humidity sensor and a signal collector. The pressure sensor, the temperature sensor and the humidity sensor are formed on the surface of the insole body, and the above sensors and the insole body are manufactured via the same 3D printing process. The pressure sensor senses the pressure signal from the insole body in contact with the foot. The temperature sensor and the humidity sensor respectively sense the temperature signal and the humidity signal of the insole body. The signal collector is respectively electrically connected to the pressure sensor, the temperature sensor and the humidity sensor to receive the pressure signal, the temperature signal and the humidity signal and then transmit the signals to a signal receiver via wireless transmission.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed herein for monitoring health of each switch of a plurality of switches on a network by selectively mirroring packets transmitted by each switch of the plurality of switches. In some embodiments, control circuitry generates a plurality of mirroring parameters, each mirroring parameter comprising an instruction to mirror a respective type of packet. The control circuitry transmits the plurality of mirroring parameters to each switch of the plurality of switches on the network, and receives, from a switch, a packet that was mirrored by the switch according to a mirroring parameter of the plurality of mirroring parameters. The control circuitry determines the respective type of the packet, executes an analysis of contents of the packet based on the respective type of the packet, and determines a health of the switch based on results of the analysis.

    Abstract: A compact device useful for measuring an absorption spectrum of a liquid, such as water with organic contaminants, is provided. The device comprises an array of light emitting diodes (LEDs) each emitting light with a unique spectral peak. A reflector shaped as a half ellipsoid reflects the emitted light to form a reference beam. The reflector has an opening to allow part of the emitted light to form a measurement beam after passing through the liquid. Two photodetectors measure the reference beam and the measurement beam to give a reference intensity and a measured intensity, respectively. The LEDs sequentially emit showers of light one-by-one, giving plural pairs of reference and measured intensities for estimating the absorption spectrum. The device receives energy from a separate power-providing device through wireless power transfer. The power-providing device harvests motional energy of the flowing liquid to generate electrical energy.
