  • Patent number: 5340063
Abstract: A folding golf bag stand including two legs pivotably fastened to a golf bag by a mount is provided. The folding golf bag stand includes a link frame having a top end pivotably connected to the legs and a bottom end coupled to a base plate hinged to the bottom of the golf bag. A spring supported between the legs, whereby the legs are forced by the link frame to extend outwards from the golf bag for supporting the golf bag in a sloping position as the golf bag is placed on the ground to depress the base plate.

  • Patent number: 4531806
Abstract: A fusible electrical connector assembly comprises a sheet metal terminal of one-piece construction having an intermediate fuse portion and a housing having a fuse chamber in which the intermediate fuse portion of the terminal is disposed. The fuse chamber is defined in part by spaced slotted walls. The terminal has conformations which cooperate with the respective slotted walls to retain the terminal parts in assembly with the housing when the intermediate fuse portion has "blown" and to maintain a spacing between the ends of the fuse portion remnants.

  • Patent number: 4425487
Abstract: A unitized manual actuator assembly is attached to a printed circuit board for operating poppet switches mounted thereon. The actuator assembly comprises a two-piece housing having a pair of integral tube guides disposed in the housing. A pin is slideably disposed in each tube guide with one end protruding out of the housing for operating the switches. The internal end of each pin has an integral hollow cap covering and protecting the upper open end of its associated tube guide. A coil spring surrounds each tube guide and engages the integral hollow cap of the pin to bias it against a rocker member pivotally mounted in the housing. The rocker member has an operator portion extending through an opening in the housing and a pair of oppositely extending arms engaged by the hollow caps so that the pins translate in opposite directions when the rocker member is pivoted.

  • Patent number: 4348071
Abstract: A connector (10) for mating a flexible printed circuit (48) to a printed circuit board (50) comprises a housing (12) and a spring (14) which is translatably disposed in a cavity (16) of the housing. The cavity (16) has an outer entrance portion (18) in which the spring (14) is temporarily retained while it receives the flexible printed circuit (48) and the printed circuit board (50). The spring (14), the flexible printed circuit (48) and the printed circuit board (50) are then moved into a reduced inner portion (20) of the cavity (16) to increase the spring forces acting on the flexible printed circuit (48) and the printed circuit board (50).
