Abstract: An atmospheric plasma treatment station is integrated in a semiconductor process tool. The atmospheric plasma treatment station directly interfaces with a deposition chamber of the semiconductor process tool without adding to the footprint or form factor of the semiconductor process tool. The atmospheric plasma treatment station includes a movable atmospheric plasma source such as a linear head for scanning across a surface of a substrate. The atmospheric plasma treatment station provides an enclosed space in a controlled environment with non-reactive gas flowing through the enclosed space. Process gases may be supplied to the linear head based on a surface condition of the substrate being treated.

Abstract: An electronic gaming machine enables implementation of a base game, from which a bonus game may be triggered. Outcomes achieved during a play of the bonus game may be retained for use during subsequent triggering of the bonus game. For example, during play of the bonus game a player may achieve one or more game conditions, such as held special symbols, sticky WILD symbols, or award multipliers. The integral geogrid has a multilayer construction, with at least one inner layer thereof having a structure that is expanded relative to at least one other layer of the multiple layers. By virtue of the expanded inner layer structure, the expanded multilayer integral geogrid provides for increased layer compressibility under load, resulting in enhanced material properties that provide performance benefits to use of the expanded multilayer integral geogrid in soil geosynthetic reinforcement, and economic benefits compared to a like integral geogrid without an expanded inner layer structure.

Abstract: Multi-player games in which players cooperate and/or compete with one another over the course of several rounds of the game are disclosed. A controller may synchronize gaming devices used by the players during the multi-player games. The controller may send sync commands to the gaming devices. In response to the sync commands, the gaming devices may start a sync timer which defines a window in which certain guarded operations may be accepted by the gaming devices. The controller may send periodic sync update commands to the gaming devices which cause the gaming devices to update their respect sync timers to a time remaining of a master sync timer or window maintained by the controller. The controller may ensure that play of the multi-player game proceeds in a relatively lock-step manner across the gaming devices.

The divided clock signals are sent at reduced rates compared to the first rate. The clock divider maintains current mode logic properties for the divided clock signals. The first de-skew circuit is configured to receive and process the divided clock signals to allow for sampling of data transmitted from the first chip to the second chip.

A quadrature receive serial interface circuit comprises a first phase rotator and a second phase rotator generating quadrature clocks of identical frequency. Calibration of the quadrature receive serial interface circuit uses a pseudo random bit sequence (PRBS) received by the quadrature receive serial interface circuit. For calibration, one-half of the received PRBS bits are sampled and the phase rotator generating in-phase 0° and 180° clock signals is adjusted to center the data eye for the sampled half of the PRBS bits. Then all data bits (even and odd data bits) of the received PRBS bits are sampled and the phase rotator generating quadrature phase 90° and 270° clock signals is adjusted to center the data eye of all data bits of the PRBS bits to complete calibration.

Abstract: A data management system (DMS) may support intelligent snapshot protection techniques. For example, the DMS may backup a computing system and facilitate that capture and storage of snapshots of the computing system. The DMS may identify a deletion event associated with one or more of the snapshots, the deletion event being associated with the one or more snapshots being deleted at a first time. The DMS may determine that deletion event is anomalous and retain the one or more snapshots beyond the first time. For example, the DMS may determine that one or more parameters associated with the deletion event are indicative of the deletion event being anomalous. In response, the DMS may retain the one or more snapshots for a retention period beyond the first time.

Abstract: Aspects of a geogrid system and method for improving substrate interactions within a geotechnical environment is disclosed. In one aspect a geotechnical environment is configured with a horizontal multilayer mechanically stabilizing geogrid. In said aspect the geogrid is extruded with a polymeric material and a compressible cellular layer, wherein the geogrid comprises a heightened aspect ratio with a patterned structure of engineered discontinuities and a plurality of strong axes. The combination of elements provides for a system and method of stabilizing soils and aggregate, by resisting lateral movement from the strong axes, and trapping particles in the patterned structure of engineered discontinuities.
