  • Publication number: 20230270854
Abstract: Provided herein are modified antibodies, pharmaceutical compositions thereof, as well as nucleic acids, and methods for making and discovering the same. The modified antibodies described herein are modified with a peptide. The peptide binds at or near the antigen binding site of the antibody at physiological pH, thus reducing binding affinity of the antibody for a target antigen. At acidic pH, the binding interaction of the peptide at or near the antigen binding site is disrupted, thus enabling binding with a target antigen.

  • Patent number: 11693065
Abstract: A system and method of effectively measuring a change in a gradient of a magnetic field. The systems include a first magnet and a second magnet mechanically coupled together and aligned along a polarization axis. The first magnet and the second magnet are positioned such that a pair of like magnetic poles of the first magnet and the second magnet face in opposite directions. Further, the first magnet and the second magnet are configured to move along the polarization axis in response to a magnetic field. A sensing system is configured to measure a change in a gradient of the magnetic field based on the movement of the first magnet and second magnet along the polarization axis in response to the magnetic field.

  • Patent number: 11684526
Abstract: Patient support apparatuses, such as beds, cots, stretchers, recliners, or the like, include control systems with one or more image, radar, and/or laser sensors to detect objects and determine if a likelihood of collision exists. If so, the control system controls the speed and steering of the patient support apparatus in order to reduce the likelihood of collision. The control system may be adapted to autonomously drive the patient support apparatus, to transmit a message to a remote device indicating whether it is occupied by a patient or not, and/or to transmit its route to the remote device. The remote device may determine an estimate of a time of arrival of the patient support apparatus at a particular destination and/or determine a distance of the patient support apparatus from the particular destination.

  • Patent number: 11650926
Abstract: A system and method of handling data access demands in a processor virtual cache that includes: determining if a virtual cache data access demand missed because of a difference in the context tag of the data access demand and a corresponding entry in the virtual cache with the same virtual address as the data access demand; in response to the virtual cache missing, determining whether the alias tag valid bit is set in the corresponding entry of the virtual cache; in response to the alias tag valid bit not being set, determining whether the virtual cache data access demand is a synonym of the corresponding entry in the virtual cache; and in response to the virtual access demand being a synonym of the corresponding entry in the virtual cache with the same virtual address but a different context tag, updating information in a tagged entry in an alias table.

  • Patent number: 11649635
Abstract: Vents are disclosed for covering openings on roofs. The disclosed vents cover openings on metal roofs and prevent moisture and objects from entering the opening while allowing air to pass therethrough. The vents disclosed herein also prevent moisture from entering the building through openings that can be created when the vents are attached to a roof. The vents include a cap, a collar, and a flashing configured to contact the roof. The vents can also include a screen placed between the cap and the collar. The collar can have arms formed on an upper portion thereof to facilitate connection of the collar to the cap. Feet can be formed on a bottom portion of the collar. Once the vent is fully assembled, the feet can be positioned underneath the flashing and can be the main connection point of the vent to a roof. Due to the design of this assembly, fasteners pass through the feet providing a sound and secure attachment to the roof.

  • Patent number: 11645208
Abstract: A computer system includes a processor and a prefetch engine. The processor is configured to generate a demand access stream. The prefetch engine is configured to generate a first prefetch request and a second prefetch request based on the demand access stream, to output the first prefetch request to a first translation lookaside buffer (TLB), and to output the second prefetch request to a second TLB that is different from the first TLB. The processor performs a first TLB lookup in the first TLB based on one of the demand access stream or the first prefetch request, and performs a second TLB lookup in the second TLB based on the second prefetch request.

  • Patent number: 11636043
Abstract: A memory address translation system includes a translation requestor module configured to provide translation requests from a virtual address to a real address of a physical memory. A translation cache module is configured to receive the translation request from the translation requestor module. A sleep and wake control module is configured to compare the received VA to VA's of all presently active table walks of the table walk machines. Upon determining that there is an address match in a given table walk machine, the translation request is sent with an identification number (ID) to the translation requestor module, to be put to sleep. Each table walk machine is configured to provide a wake-up signal having an ID to the translation requestor module upon completion of its translation level, thereby triggering a waking up and processing of a presently sleeping translation request, to provide parallel translation table walks.

  • Publication number: 20230063976
Abstract: A computer system, processor, programming instructions and/or method for managing operations of a gather buffer for a processor core load storage unit. The processor core includes a processing pipeline having one or more execution units for processing unaligned load instructions that executes in two phases to satisfy. A buffer storage element is provided having a plurality of entries for temporarily collecting partial writeback results retrieved from the memory that are associated with first phase accesses for each of a plurality of unaligned load instructions. An associated logic controller device tracks two parts of the unaligned load to be gathered at independent times, wherein said partial result stored at said buffer storage element comprises a first part of an unaligned load. The second phase load access for the same instruction is independently accessed and later merged with first part of the load data at byte granularity to satisfy the load.

  • Patent number: 11593109
Abstract: Aspects are provided for sharing instruction cache footprint between multiple threads using instruction cache set/way pointers and a tracking table. The tracking table is built up over time for shared pages, even when the instruction cache has no access to real addresses or translation information. A set/way pointer to an instruction cache line is derived from the system memory address associated with a first thread's instruction fetch. The set/way pointer is stored as a surrogate for the system memory address in both an instruction cache directory (IDIR) and a tracking table. Another set/way pointer to an instruction cache line is derived from the system memory address associated with a second thread's instruction fetch. A match is detected between the set/way pointer and the other set/way pointer. The instruction cache directory is updated to indicate that the instruction cache line is shared between multiple threads.
