  • Publication number: 20240201213
Abstract: A receptacle delivery system for an instrument includes a carriage, a puck supported by the carriage, and a first shelf. The carriage is configured to move from a first location of the instrument to a second location of the instrument. The puck is configured to removably support a receptacle such that a longitudinal axis of the receptacle is substantially coincident with a vertical axis of the puck. The first shelf is positioned at the second location of the instrument and comprises (a) a base extending substantially transverse to the vertical axis of the puck and (b) a first opening defined by the base. When the carriage is positioned at the second location, the longitudinal axis of a receptacle seated in the puck extends through the first opening.

  • Patent number: 12012333
Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed that monitor the carbon and hydrogen production of a pyrolysis reactor system and adjust one or more inputs to the reactor system to improve performance when one or both of the monitored carbon and hydrogen production falls outside of a target performance specification. In particular, the ratio of fuel to oxidant (“fuel/oxidant ratio”) supplied to a combustion chamber of the reactor system is adjusted to below a fuel/oxidant equivalence ratio range, defined as 0.9-1.1, when both carbon and hydrogen production falls below a target carbon and hydrogen specification, and adjusted above the fuel/oxidant equivalence ratio range when only the carbon production falls below a target carbon specification. The target specification can include a number of parameters including production rate, morphology (of carbon), and operating temperature.

  • Publication number: 20240190812
Abstract: The present invention is related to a process for obtaining organic ammonium salts (OAS) and their derivatives, supramolecular surfactants (SS), which simultaneously present the properties of traceability and detergents dispersant of organic scales. Organic ammonium salts (OAS) and their derivatives supramolecular surfactants (SS) have applications as differentiators, markers, or tracers in fuels derived from hydrocarbons; and also to disperse organic scales or inhibit the gums precipitation both in injectors and intake valves of automotive vehicle engines. Organic ammonium salts (OAS) are obtained through an acid-base reaction between a molecule from the azo family and an amine. Once the OAS is obtained, it reacts with an organic compound (OC) so that through non-covalent interactions, a self-assembly process occurs that gives rise to the SS. Said process is based on green chemistry, that is, in the absence of solvents.

  • Patent number: 12007889
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for valid data identification for garbage collection are described. In connection with writing data to a block of memory cells, a memory system may identify a portion of a logical address space that includes a logical address for the data. The memory system may set a bit of a bitmap, which may indicate that the block includes data having a logical address within a portion of the logical address space corresponding to the bit. The logical address space may be divided into any quantity of portions, each corresponding to a different subset of a logical-to-physical (L2P) table, and the bitmap may include any quantity of corresponding bits. To perform garbage collection on the block, the bitmap may be used to identify one or more subsets of the L2P table to evaluate to determine whether different sets of data within the block are valid or invalid.

  • Publication number: 20240184463
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for data type based write management techniques are described. A memory system may store (e.g., multiplex) different subsets of logical data types into the same data blocks and later separate the different types of logical data into respective data blocks. For example, the memory system may write each logical data type to a certain type of memory cell. The memory system may write different logical data types to the same type of memory cell and later separate them into the respective data blocks. For example, the memory system may write first data of a first logical data type and second data of a second logical data type to the same data block if both logical data types are associated with storage to the same type of memory cell and subsequently transfer the first data and second data to respective data blocks.

  • Publication number: 20240176534
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for techniques for improved write performance modes are described. A memory system and a host system may support a high performance mode to write data to the memory system. For example, the host system may provision a dedicated logical unit of the memory system. Upon detecting an urgent situation, the host system may transmit a command to the memory system to enter the high performance mode. In response to the command, the memory system may abort ongoing operations, such as internal memory management operations. Additionally, the host system and the memory system may configure operational parameters to increase the speed of write operations, such as a trim set for writing data to the logical unit, a bit rate of data transfer between the host system and the memory system, clock speeds of the memory system, or a combination thereof.

  • Publication number: 20240166508
Abstract: A method of decomposing a feedstock gas includes introducing the feedstock gas into a mixing chamber and introducing a combustion gas into a combustion chamber connected to the mixing chamber. The combustion gas is combusted so as to produce combustion product gases. • Patent number: 11988563
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for temperature exception tracking in a temperature log for a memory system are described. The memory system may store the temperature log separate from data to which the temperature information corresponds. For example, a memory device may store data in a relatively higher-level cell and the corresponding temperature information in a relatively lower-level cell. To perform a write operation, the memory system may determine a current temperature at which the data is being written or was written to a partition of a memory device and may indicate in the temperature log if the current temperature is entering a temperature range that is outside a threshold temperature (e.g., a nominal temperature). To perform a read operation, the memory system may determine if the data to read was written to the memory device outside the threshold temperature to determine whether to perform temperature compensation for the read operation.
