  • Patent number: 10681666
Abstract: Coarse location estimation for mobile devices is disclosed for detecting mobile device presence at general locations of interest and switching operating modes and services for one or more location context aware applications. In some implementations, sensor data is received from a plurality of data sources at a location. For each data source, a first probability is estimated that the mobile device is at the location based on sensor data from the data sources. A second probability is estimated that the mobile device is not at the location based on sensor data from the data sources. The first and second estimated probabilities are statistically combined to generate a third estimated probability that the mobile device is at the location.

  • Patent number: 10650227
Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems and methods that perform face reconstruction based on an image of a face. In particular, one example system of the present disclosure combines a machine-learned image recognition model with a face modeler that uses a morphable model of a human's facial appearance. The image recognition model can be a deep learning model that generates an embedding in response to receipt of an image (e.g., an uncontrolled image of a face). The example system can further include a small, lightweight, translation model structurally positioned between the image recognition model and the face modeler. The translation model can be a machine-learned model that is trained to receive the embedding generated by the image recognition model and, in response, output a plurality of facial modeling parameter values usable by the face modeler to generate a model of the face.

  • Patent number: 10572137
Abstract: Improved computer efficiency for document navigation is provided. A transparent overlay is automatically applied to an interactive content element to prevent inadvertent interaction with the element during scrolling operations. In some examples, upon determining a user's intent is to navigate a parent document comprising an embedded interactive element, the overlay is applied, and user-interaction with the interactive element is temporarily disabled. Upon determining the user's intent is to interact with the interactive element, the overlay is removed, and user-interaction with the interactive element is enabled. When the overlay is removed, a contextual hint, such as via a user interface control, can be provided to indicate how to continue navigating the parent document.

  • Publication number: 20200057800
Abstract: A collaborative authoring application provides an authoring environment in which two or more users can edit a document concurrently. Each user edits a copy of the document, sends updates to a master copy of the document, and receives updates from the master copy of the document. The authoring environment generally inhibits the users from providing conflicting editing instructions to the master copy of the document. For example, each user can generate a content lock about one or more data units within the document. The authoring environment may synchronize content locks automatically and content only at the request of the user.

Abstract: A therapeutic agent delivery system includes a catheter, a vascular occluder, a pressure sensor system, and a pump system. The vascular occluder is provided at the distal end of the catheter. The pressure sensor system is provided to sense pressure at the distal end of a catheter lumen, and provides feedback to the pump system. The pump system is adapted to control the rate of infusion of the therapeutic agent through the lumen of the catheter based on the pressure sensed by the pressure sensor system. A method includes deploying the occluder in a vessel, and then sensing a pressure in the vessel. The therapeutic agent is infused into the vessel at a flow rate based on the sensed pressure.

  • Patent number: 10521517
Abstract: A design engine for designing an object using structural analysis. The design engine generates a lattice structure for the object comprising a plurality of nodes and a plurality of lines connecting the nodes. The lattice structure is optimized to remove one or more lines using structural analysis based on at least one load-related design requirement. Several design options are provided for generating and optimizing the lattice structure. The design engine then generates a 3D model of the object by thickening each line of the lattice structure into a pipe volume. The thickness of each pipe is determined using structural analysis based on the at least one load-related design requirement. The 3D model represents the volume of the object and is exportable to a fabrication device.

  • Publication number: 20190347373
Abstract: A design analysis engine analyzes a CAD assembly to generate a topological model. The topological model is a graph of nodes coupled together via a set of edges. Each node represents a different CAD model in the CAD assembly and each edge represents a different connection between two such CAD models. The design analysis engine also analyzes the CAD assembly to generate a data model corresponding to the topological model. The data model is a structured dataset that includes component entries and connection entries. A component entry includes design data associated with a CAD model in the CAD assembly and a connection entry includes design data associated with a physical or logical connection between two or more such CAD models. A user interacts with the topological model to navigate the CAD assembly, obtain CAD model data, and initiate automatically-performed design tasks.

  • Publication number: 20190347539
Abstract: A design application is configured to generate a latent space representation of a fleet of pre-existing vehicles. The design application encodes vehicle designs associated with the fleet of pre-existing vehicles into the latent space representation to generate a first latent space location. The first latent space location represents the characteristic style associated with the fleet of pre-existing vehicles. The design application encodes a sample design provided by a user into the latent space representation to produce a second latent space location. The design application then determines a distance between the first latent space location and the second latent space location. Based on the distance, the design application generates a style metric that indicates the aesthetic similarity between the sample design and the vehicle designs associated with the fleet of pre-existing vehicles. The design application can also generate new vehicle designs based on the latent space representation and the sample design.
