Steering angle constraints may be used to limit or prevent saturation of steering by only one set of wheels as well as to reduce sideslip. The steering angle constraints are vehicle independent and applicable across a fleet of different vehicles based on vehicle speed. For instance, the steering angle constraints establish angle limits that dynamically adjust based on vehicle speed to ensure vehicle velocity and acceleration remain within predefined limits as established by autonomous vehicle system design.

An axial region from which an interferogram is detectable extends across the pivot plane while the objective is in the anterior imaging configuration. A pupil alignment method uses the anterior imaging modality to obtain a structure position of a structure of an eye's anterior segment and then an offset between the structure position and a reference position.

A heater plate assembly of the system can include a compliant insulation sheet to improve thermal coupling between the heating element and the top heating plate of the heater plate assembly, thereby improving the low water and/or water-out detection process.

The end cap can include a hanging component to allow the breathing circuit component to be hung from a medical stand. The system can detect when breathing circuits are connected in reverse.
