Abstract: A flip-top dispensing closure is provided and comprises a base which is attachable to a container and a lid attached to the base by a hinge. The base includes a dispensing passage; a syringe of the type comprising a barrel and a terminal tip is insertable into the passage. The closure further comprises a flexible self-closing valve for closing the passage. In use the syringe is inserted into the passage so that the tip passes through the valve to access product, and thereafter when the syringe is withdrawn the valve wipes against the syringe tip.

Abstract: A request is received to book a flight on a private aircraft. A disruption cost associated with adding the flight to a previously optimized schedule of previously booked flights is determined. A price to be quoted to book the requested flight is computed based at least in part on the disruption cost.

Abstract: User interface information related to relevant events of interest is provided. Events can occur anywhere in a document, and may or may not be relevant to a user utilizing an assistive technology (AT) application, such as a screen reader. A provider-side signaling system component determines whether raised events are relevant to the user. In some examples, when an application makes a plurality of attribute changes in a document at once, the signaling provider batches the related events as a single transaction, and generates a generalized annotation describing the changes. The signaling provider further packages the event notification, and sends the event notification to a client-side signaling system component. The signaling client receives the notification, and determines whether to alert the user of the event(s) based on verbosity settings. The AT application is enabled to interpret the event notification and alert the user in a meaningful way.

Abstract: A GSM, UMTS or LTE mobile telecommunications network includes a radio access network comprising base stations, and further includes one or more additional access points. An access point may be connected to the network core by an IP transport broadband connection. The access point is configured to appear to the mobile terminal as a base station. Arrangements are disclosed which allow the network to restrict access to the network via these access points whilst also minimizing signaling requirements. The access points may be excluded from traditional Tracking Areas, but associated therewith by a network controller in a mapping in order to notify authorized mobile terminals of the Access Point's existence.

Abstract: A brushless, three phase wound field synchronous machine (WFSM) provides an electromechanical power transfer system wherein it may serve as both a starter and a generator. Power for the excitation system of the WFSM is provided by a three phase flux switching generator (FSG). The three phase FSG also provides position sensor functionality for the WFSM when the WFSM operates in the starter/motor mode.

The contact information is provided if the relationship between the first and second members is an authorized relationship. The contact information associated with the first member can be used to update the contact information for the first member in an electronic address book associated with the second member.

Abstract: An oral care kit is provided. The oral care kit is designed to be used to treat a painful area of a patient's mouth, such as a tooth, an area of a lip, or an area along a gum line. The oral care kit generally includes a topical anesthetic, a plurality of disposable swabs, and an applicator. The applicator has a proximal end defining a handle, and a distal end comprising a pair of prongs. A channel is formed along an inner surface of the prongs. The proximal end of each swab is dimensioned to be slidably received within the channel, while the distal end comprises flocking. Each of the disposable swabs is dimensioned to be received within a user's mouth for application of the topical anesthetic. A method of numbing a dental area is also provided herein.
