  • Patent number: 7599501
Abstract: A dry/wet bit for controlling dry and wet components of an output sound during processing of an input sound is provided. The bit is configurable by a program to indicate when to reverse the dry and wet components of the output sound. When the bit has a first value, the dry component is calculated by modifying the input sound by an attenuation factor, and the wet component is calculated by providing to a reverberation filter as input the dry component modified by a reverberation factor. When the bit has a second value, the wet component is calculated by providing to the reverberation filter as input the input sound modified by the attenuation factor, and the dry component is calculated by modifying the input to the reverberation filter by the reverberation factor.

  • Publication number: 20090228722
Abstract: An adjustable-voltage Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) switch provides data signals and output electrical powers to a multiple number of output PoE ports. The adjustable-voltage PoE switch has an output voltage-adjusting interface, allowing a user to select a specific power level or a specific output voltage for the particular output PoE port. The adjustable-voltage PoE can also include a conventional IEEE 802.3af-compliant power mode for further utilizing PoE in communicating and powering up external devices. A plurality of light indicators corresponding to the multiple number of output PoE ports provides further convenience by indicating a specific power level or a specific output voltage for a particular output PoE port using a particular color in each color-changing light indicator.

  • Publication number: 20090117323
Abstract: An airtight self-venting composite film for food packaging device has a substrate film formed with a plurality of micro-gap regions and a sealing adhesive tape covering the plurality of micro-gap regions through an adhesive layer. The composite film is applied to a food packaging device, such containers or bags, which provides an airtight structure. In use, foodstuffs can be tightly sealed in the food packaging device to be refrigerated or frozen. When cooking the foodstuffs, the sealing adhesive tape can be optionally removed for reuse before microwaving. The food packaging device in refrigerated or frozen status is then heated up with a microwave oven without causing burst of the food packaging device when heating, for the self-venting composite film regulates the steam at high temperature and build-up high pressure.

  • Publication number: 20080220212
Abstract: A composite film for packaging foods enable to regulate pressure inside automatically when being heated and the progress of making it are provided. The composite film comprises a substrate film provided with a plurality of micro-gap regions processed by impressing process and an adhesive film attached to an airtight film. The composite film is applied to a food packaging devices which has an airtight structure. In use, the food packaging device can receive foods for microwave heating while the airtight film and the micro-gap region are used to prevent the food packaging device from breaking while preventing the steam vast losing and foods from becoming drier.

  • Patent number: 7227384
Abstract: A circuit for converting received domino logic signals to a static output signal includes a pair of logic gates having inputs and outputs that are cross-coupled and responsive to a domino logic input signal and a clock signal to latch the input signal during an evaluation phase defined by the clock signal. A static output is based on the latched value. One of the logic gates is tri-stateable to establish a value at the static output during a scan mode. A circuit for converting received static logic signals into domino logic signals includes a latch responsive to a clock signal to latch the value of a data signal at a predefined clock transition. A conversion circuit produces a domino logic output signal in response to the clock signal and the latched value of the data signal. A latch component is tri-stateable to establish a value at the output.

  • Publication number: 20060228480
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a release liner to be temporarily adhered to the surface of an adhesive. A single-layer or multi-layer film is obtained by impressing a plastic base liner substrate. At least one surface of the base liner substrate is coated with a release agent to form a tearable release liner. There is no fibrous debris along the edges when the release liner is torn apart.

  • Publication number: 20060166218
Abstract: An array is formed with a protective cover on a substrate. The protective cover is patterned to produce an array of openings to the substrate. Desired material is deposited on the substrate through the openings. The protective cover may then be removed. In one embodiment, the protective cover is a conformal polymer, such as di-para-xylylene. It may be removed by mechanical peeling. The material may be biological material such as DNA. The protective cover may be used to prevent non-specific hybridization in inter-spot regions by performing hybridization with the cover still in place. Hybridization that occurs in such regions between the spots may be removed with removal of the protective cover.
