  • Patent number: 11832862
Abstract: Methods of delivering bone cement to within a vertebral body. An access cannula is directed into the vertebral body with a stylet disposed within a tube and extending through a valve in an open position. The stylet is removed from the access cannula such that the valve moves from the open position to a closed position in which the valve prevents egress of fluid from the access cannula. The bone cement is delivered through the access cannula with the valve in the open position. A delivery cannula may be directed into the access cannula, and the bone cement may be delivered through the delivery cannula. The delivery cannula may be prefilled with the bone cement. A bone cement mixer may be coupled to the access cannula and operated to direct the bone cement through the access cannula. Pressure from the bone cement may move the valve to the open position.

  • Patent number: 11833040
Abstract: Embodiments of a crimping device for crimping a radially expandable and compressible prosthetic valve are disclosed. A crimping device can comprise a housing configured to receive a prosthetic valve in a radially expanded state. The housing member can include a funnel segment and an outlet in communication with the funnel segment. The crimping device can further comprise an actuator rotatably coupled to the housing, wherein rotation of the actuator relative to the housing causes the prosthetic valve to move axially through the funnel segment such that at least a portion of the prosthetic valve compresses radially by engagement with the funnel segment and exits the crimping device via the outlet.

  • Patent number: 11831166
Abstract: A system for monitoring and optimizing fuel consumption by a genset at an oil rig is described. Gensets require large amounts of fuel to initiate and to maintain in a standby, idling position. The system accesses data in a drill plan to determine the present and future power requirements and initiates gensets if needed; otherwise gensets can be shut down. • Patent number: 11831752
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a data storage device. A data port transmits data between a host computer system and the data storage device. A non-volatile storage medium stores encrypted user content data and a cryptography engine uses a cryptographic key to decrypt the encrypted user content data stored on the storage medium in response to a request from the host computer system. An access controller receives a request from a manager device to initialize the data storage device. The controller generates the cryptographic key, generates a manager key configured to provide manager access for the manager device and provide access to the cryptographic key, and stores, on a data store, authorization data indicative of the manager key and accessible based on a private key stored on the manager device.

  • Publication number: 20230375321
Abstract: A coordinate positioning machine includes a plurality of drive axes, each being a rotary or linear drive axis, for positioning a platform within a working volume of the machine, and a separate linear counterbalance axis for counterbalancing the platform. With this arrangement the counterbalance axis can be substantially invariant to changes in orientation of the drive axes and can be counterbalanced by a simple counterweight. Also, an arrangement wherein the counterbalance axes and force generator are arranged so horizontal movement of the platform causes substantially no net movement of and/or no work to be done on the generator. Also, an arrangement wherein a series of counterbalance axes has at least one rotary counterbalance axis, and the generator is arranged behind or at a predetermined distance from the counterbalance axis. Also, an arrangement having a series of counterbalance axes with at most one rotary counterbalance axis between the generator and ground.

  • Patent number: 11816126
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media provide techniques for on-demand access to object data hosted in distributed object storage. A query is received for the distributed object storage database, wherein the distributed object storage database includes first object data stored in a first data center at a first geographical location, and second object data stored in a second data center at a second geographical location. It is determined that the query is for at least a portion of the first object data stored by the first data center. The query is transmitted to a first computing device in the first data center. Results are received from the first computing device for the query, and the results are provided in response to the received query.

  • Publication number: 20230358296
Abstract: Provided is a cord stopper for moving along a length of cord and releasably engaging the cord. The cord stopper comprises a body delimiting a channel for passing the cord through the body. A first path and a second path for the cord are defined in the channel. The first path or the second path is selectable by rotating the body relative to the cord. A cord engagement portion is provided along the first path, and a cord passing portion in the channel defines the second path. The cord engagement portion is configured to engage the cord such that movement of the cord stopper along the cord is restricted when the first path is selected. The cord passing portion is configured to permit the cord stopper to move along the length of the cord when the second path is selected. Further provided is a cord stopper assembly comprising the cord stopper and the cord.

  • Patent number: 11810612
Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and methods for row hammer based cache lockdown. A controller of a memory may include an aggressor detector circuit which determines if addresses are aggressor addresses or not. The controller may include a tracker circuit which may count a number of times an address is identified as an aggressor, and may determine if the aggressor address is a frequent aggressor address based on the count. If the address is a frequent aggressor address, a cache entry associated with the frequent aggressor address may be locked (e.g., for a set amount of time). In some embodiments, the controller may include a second tracker which may determine if the frequent aggressor address is a highly attacked address. An address mapping associated with the highly attacked address may be changed.

  • Publication number: 20230329655
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for delivering images to a patient before and/or during a medical procedure in which a patient is translated on a table relative to a gantry. In various example embodiments, images are projected to the patient while preserving the projected field size during table motion, thereby potentially reducing patient anxiety by providing a more immersive patient viewing experience. In some embodiments, the projected field size is maintained by a display system that is secured to the table such that both a projector and a projection screen are fixed relative to the table, and relative to the patient, during translation of the table. In some example embodiments, a reduction in patient anxiety may be achieved by projecting images as virtual images that are perceived by the patient as residing at a depth that lies beyond the confined spatial region in which the patient resides.
